Yeah, he’s not all that great. Bad feeing about this one. Huge drop off in skill level and performance. Based on what I’ve seen so far from O and D, we lose this one.

Running has been fine. Good 1st down runs. The dumb short passes is a killer

It is early and the kid has had hardly any reps. I don’t think it is a tremendous drop off. He has scrambled and made first downs. No help from the running game. A fair criticism is he has missed some throws. Let’s see if he can get in a rhythm.

The run game has not been good the last two series in particular. Virtually no positive yards.
 
Need to start getting the ball downfield to Akem and Toure. They’re excellent receivers and match up quite well with the EWU secondary.

They drove the field based on their running. Not their passing.

Pretty sure they drove down and turned it over on downs last drive...not sure how that is "no positive yards"?
