Unofficial Griz vs EWU Game Thread

Anybody watching the Sac State/ Cal Poly game? Sac State looks nothing like the team we played last week.

Our streaming here sucks (don't ask), but what I've seen makes your point. We had seen Sac State before the Griz played them, and they looked damn good. But even with that, they were at a different (much higher) level when the Griz came to town. Even for them, they were on fire ... so a drop back after such an emotional win comes as no surprise.

I think they'll soon get it together ... the talent difference between them and CP is just too much.

It's great for the completion percentage (for Qbs to catch a pass batted back in their face), but that 12? yard loss was huge. Incredibly stupid decision by Berriere. 90% of passes caught by Qbs end up in a loss of yards. That's why smart Qbs bat those to the ground.

Bobby's so cocky when things go his way, but did he explain why Eastwood was in the game at South Dakota St (and fumbled and almost cost us that game)? He thinks that he's a genius now, but he honestly picked Eastwood over Ostmo AND Knight to start the season.

Well when I posted I think the score was still 14-10 EWU and the defense had just given up an easy score. The second half performance was phenomenal

This has been discussed a few times on egriz. Wahlberg also acknowledged it. It was because of Eastwood's pass protection and catching out of the backfield was better, at that time. Those things are very important to most coaches. Since then, Knight and Ostmo have taken advantage of their opportunities, and we are now where we are at running back. Why are you such a Hauck hater?

You would have made the decision much sooner! Why are you not the head coach, you are clearly the genius, not coach Hauck.
