PSU gets 60 -- SIXTY!!! -- points in the 2nd half. Geez, it's called Defense, Brad.

Wow, talk about a melt down. Huse had the Cats claw their way back in, just to have a let down after the break. Too bad.
For what Huse has done with this team, he deserves BSC coach of the year, in my opinion.
Although I'm sure the new Weber guy will get it.
In the post-game interview, Mayes credited the crowd with helping the Griz, especially down the stretch. It was super loud at the end and probably as loud as I witnessed all year. I guess once the crowd members who sucked ass left, the rest of of us improved. This Griz team has come back from big deficits all year (although not always with a resulting victory). Leaving early is not wise. :twocents:twentythreeOh4 said:ALPHAGRIZ1 said:Griz flat.
Don't look good.
Crowd sucks ass.
I'm out of here.
Loser. Man it would be great if we could get rid of you permanently.
Hell of a game you missed.

mtgrizrule said:BTW, Thanks to the older griz fan sitting 5 to 6 rows behind me. I was standing, waving, cheering, getting rowdy, etc. A few lame fans told me to sit down. I said "stand up, this team needs us more than I need to sit down." The old man said "damn, that boy is right, lets hear it!" That took care of that, rest of the way there was nobody bitching, most everyone standing and getting loud.

Really, is that the best you can do? Smack the Bobcat play-by-play guy? Weak :loser: Kris Atteberry did an admirable job taking over after a legend named Dean Alexander retired. He was excitable, he was loyal, but most of all, he was fair. He called games the right way and gave credit where credit was due, be it the Bobcats, or even (God forbid) the Grizzlies. Show a little class to a guy who is taking his experience he earned in the Big Sky Conference all the way to the Show - he's going to become part of the Minnesota Twins radio broadcast team.

Here's what the Pocatello newspaper said about the crowd:
Crowd a factor
Late in the game, with Montana surging back against Idaho State, the crowd at Dahlberg Arena became a legitimate distraction to the Bengals. That might sound a little odd considering Idaho State spent much of its preseason playing at Illinois, Marquette, BYU and Oregon. But on one possession John Ofoegbu held onto the ball without worry while the shot clock expired.
“When they made their run, the crowd definitely got back into it,” Schroeder said. “The atmosphere definitely changed, and it was hard to communicate.”
