UM vs EWU Score Predictions

I think it will be just like the last 4 years games, and off the top of my head, more like a 41-37 type of game, and could become a shoot out in the 4th qtr as always. But I do like EWU at home on this one.

One thing being overlooked in all the VA hoopla, I think, is the running game and O Lines. I think our O Line and running game is better than Montana's this year. I think that will be the difference in this one, and not whether or not Adams plays.

So I think it will be something like 38-35 Eastern.
 
I agree that a primary focus better be to contain Fortes but I really think the front 7 will have some success. It's going to boil down to execution on both sides of the line, turn overs, and field position. One player will not win this thing but I really think the defense will be up to the challenge and the offense will do enough to make this a very interesting game.
The eagles defense have shown they can be scored on! Guess we'll see on Saturday!

I'm sick of hearing and reading the name IroneagleXP...this might be one thing that the Griz fans and the Eagle fans can both agree upon...Scat, Cat!

and Holmes, Rehm, Tonga, Gamboa, and the remaining defensive members. All are clicking as a TEAM and will respond as a TEAM.
 
Love Eastern to keep the Griz on the run with another win tacked on to the others of recent years. Just happy Eag's are winning enough games in this match-up to call this a rivalry. Nice also to have EWU crowd outnumber Griz fan's at Eag home games. Can't take away Montana's rich football history and big sky dominance that is time tested. Eastern 42- UM 34. I am tempted to mention the Eagle D, but am filtering myself. Think positive I say. GO Eags.
 
The more this week goes on I see this as being a VERY physical game. I could see it getting kind of chippy as it goes on.

I think the Eags plan on putting a ton of pressure on JJ and will take some shots on him to rattle him.

The Griz better be ready to do the exact same to VA or his back up.

The Griz had better be ready to come in and punch EWU in the mouth and keep it up.

This game is going to be a battle. Griz want revenge for two years of losses. JJ being a Sr and last shot at EWU most likely.

I pick against the Griz about once every other year, but this is a time where I have to do it again ... sigh ... EWU-35, UM-29. But, I will be there, in maroon and silver, screaming my head off in support of the Griz, and ever proud to bear the name of "Griz fan."
 
2 years ago the Griz had Eastern on the ropes with McKinney at QB and a defense not as dominate. If not for a fluck bounce on the onside kick, that game would have been Eastern's first regular season loss. That game will have zero relevance to this game except for the fact the Griz can play Eastern tough under any circumstances. I look forward to a great game and will be surprised if either team wins by more than a touchdown.
