It is a bunch of guys that want to chuck it up from behind the 3 point line.

I think you guys all expected too much from the Griz. The glaring weakness due to a lack of any front court players will keep this team from winning. The bonus with the return of Cherry will be the Keron will be sitting next to Tinks and the BSC is terrible.

No. We didn't have a"true" front court player all last year and we won 25 games, went 15-1 in conference and won 20 of our last 21. No reason we shouldn't be playing better, cherry or no cherry. Biggest difference I've seen is we don't come back with a counter punch after we get down this year. We need to get it together before conference or it'll be a long season.

I must admit the one bright spot I see is that Gregory is going to be great for this team. He is getting into the lane at times and can finish better than DeShields at least.

Sure we do. We came back against big deficits against Idaho and San Diego. They can do it. I was sure the Griz would make a run in the second but never quite did.

I sure hate to see Will Cherry miss this much, have to come back and try so hard, and maybe rehurt himself this year to get a 15-16 seed and maybe never get a chance at the big league! This is a rebuilding year! Next year he can come back bigger and better, and be a senior with Keron and recruit jc big guys and everyone else that much better, and redshirt dunn and Bradshaw, and???????????????

You are wrong, Selvig and Steward made a huge difference on both ends of the court in the paint. This team lacks that.

Gotcha. I guess the losses I've seen we haven't been able to put together a run. Hope it is just youthful growing pains.

First, you meant Kareem . Second, Isn't Bradshaw going to have to take his redshirt this year due to the transfer?

Have to agree with you there. While Selvig wasn't a "true" back to the basket post player, he was more of a presence underneath than what we have right now. Then there was Art... missing him right now big time.

No idea what the answer is... do you stick with Martin and try to develop the big guy? Go back to Hutch who hasn't really done anything? Wiley hasn't played much and seems a bit lost at times out there... Maybe go with a combination of Martin and Wiley occasionally and HOPE that getting Cherry back for conference helps speed up their development?

Definitely frustrating...
