UM No. 1 in Conference Scoring Defense and Red Zone Defense

The way to avoid skewing the stats is get rid of the biggest outlier. Thus, UM would get rid of NAU from the stats, and MSU would also get rid of NAU. They were clearly both outliers.

Really, you think it makes sense to get rid of a common opponent because it make the stats more comparable?....

If UM beat the common opponent, and MSU lost to the common opponent, excluding those games is probably a necessary step in deriving the TSR. In this instance, however, the games should clearly count toward the TSR.

In an effort to get this to 17 pages, here's a couple more amazing stats:

6 games in...ZERO Interceptions thrown by our QBs in 144 pass attempts
10 INT's by our DB's...leads the conference
+10 in turnover margin....leads the conference
7 TD passes against our much maligned pass defense...3rd best in the conference
27 penalties/222 yards in SIX games, including 0 penalties against UCD
Just 6 red zone TD's given up in six games
9.8 yards/completion, 2nd only to EWU's 10.2
16.6 yards average K/O return...last in the conference... :?

These are good stats. Many of them don't count, but they are good stats. That last one counts.

The Cat trolls want to limit the stats to 2 games, and not use 6 games. Is there a way for you to pick out 2 UM games in which the stats are not very good, to make the Cat trolls happy?

Admire your stats but let us know when you beat a Big Sky Team that is in the top 6-7 in the conference. Then you can really start admiring your stats. I see everyone finally (including media) has stopped talking about the POWER App State LOL :)

No. If he/she were a Weber fan, he/she could boast of a victory over SFA.
