But 3 of the losses were extremely closeThis is one strange-assed argument to make about a team who went 8-4, lost to 2 teams the GRIZ beat, and lost the head to head 37-7

So why did you lie and say he literally transferred down?Dude he transferred up
Close? Are we still talking about football, or did you switch to goat roping? But 3 of the losses were extremely close
Dammit. Didn't realize the game was horseshoes. But 3 of the losses were extremely close
lol. lmao, even. But 3 of the losses were extremely close
Dude cats landed some dudes from portal. Davis, Alexander Jr., Aigbedion (I think), McCullouch, and Hall have been great. Yes Eckert didn’t get lots of action but his size and strength is phenomenal. 6’2” 265 and lifts the heaviest on the team as a sophomore.Griz have been better in more than just 2023. Griz have been doing very well with transfers and the Portal for several years. Not "hit or miss". Almost all hits.
Having replacements at o-line and otherwise is not the same as having first-team all-conference players and replacements. And, you know with o-line, there can be injuries.
Eckert was a walk-on at WSU who played in 1 game last season and got no tackles or sacks. He was a two-star recruit. "MSU offered a full ride scholarship to Eckert, he said. His only other offer while in the portal came from Division II Minot State." Will he even start? Sure, he's better than Valdez, who had a great spring at UW.
Pretty sure no one played SDSU nearly as close as the cats did.Dammit. Didn't realize the game was horseshoes.
Congratulations!!!!! Yet another loss! Man, the bubs had so many I forgot about a few of them.Pretty sure no one played SDSU nearly as close as the cats did.
Are games at the beginning of the season more important than games at the end of the season and playoff games?Congratulations!!!!! Yet another loss! Man, the bubs had so many I forgot about a few of them.
How close was the Brawl again? I lost count the GRIZ were in the end zone so often.
Agreed but the cats and NDSU have been the only teams in the past 3 seasons to give SDSU a run (I believe the cats were the last FCS team to beat them). Gris learned how far they are behind SDSU’s o-line and d-line when they played. I don’t want to discredit the gris’ playoff run but we all know the gris are significantly weaker when not in wagriz and that #2 seed totally carried the gris to the national championship. Are games at the beginning of the season more important than games at the end of the season and playoff games?
Question: Did the GRIZ earn the #2 seed?Agreed but the cats and NDSU have been the only teams in the past 3 seasons to give SDSU a run (I believe the cats were the last FCS team to beat them). Griz road schedule included wins at Davis and Idaho so hard to say they’re only good at home.Agreed but the cats and NDSU have been the only teams in the past 3 seasons to give SDSU a run (I believe the cats were the last FCS team to beat them). We're reaching levels of cope yet unseen.Agreed but the cats and NDSU have been the only teams in the past 3 seasons to give SDSU a run (I believe the cats were the last FCS team to beat them). SDSU was better and deeper than the Griz, and really took to the Griz in the second half, especially in 3d quarter after first drive of half. Despite not scoring in first half when they should have, the Griz were in the game at halftime. I'm told that the coaches and team expected to win the game coming out of halftime. The fumble on the completed pass at midfield on the first draft of the half, was a huge missed opportunity and the game went away from the Griz. We knew that McDowell hadn't had a great game, and now we know that he got hurt in the second quarter. After that, he was not getting the job done. Not an excuse, but he said he got hurt, and he believes Griz would have won otherwise.Agreed but the cats and NDSU have been the only teams in the past 3 seasons to give SDSU a run (I believe the cats were the last FCS team to beat them). Yes gris earned the #2, no doubt.Question: Did the GRIZ earn the #2 seed?
Question: Did all of ndsu's home games over the years carry them to the championship?
Question: Do you really think there was a larger delta between sdsu and the GRIZ than sdsu and the bubs??
Question: If the answer to question 3 above is "yes" (and there is no way it could be), please explain 37-7, 13-2, 8-4, wins over ndsu and idaho.
Tommy got injured vs SDSU and Chambers took over………. (We lost by literally inches)Every team that beat Cats were better than Cats. It’s not like Mellott didn’t play in the loss. Mony is delusional and never played the game. A lot of Cat fans were delusional last season. Irrational. Couldn’t see reality. Some starting to be that way again now.
Some like mony don’t follow Griz and just make up stuff.
The gris kept up but inevitably SDSU was going to pull away, like they did in multiple games. I am still skeptical on McDowell getting hurt, Bobby said that he wasn’t in the post game interview and if he was legitimately hurt, why wouldn’t you put in your “freshman stud” earlier. I also think any coach thinks their team will always win.SDSU was better and deeper than the Griz, and really took to the Griz in the second half, especially in 3d quarter after first drive of half. The gap between SDSU and UM is not as great as the score indicates, but there was a gap. That gap is not nearly large as the gap that has developed between UM and MSU. We'll see if the Cats can get back on track and eliminate the gap. It will be interesting to see how the teams look early in the season.
It's too bad that NDSU didn't get seeded over the Cats. Had the Cats played NDSU on the road, Cats would have had better excuse. This excuse is not so good: "We were better team than NDSU, but we let them come into Bozeman and beat us on our field. The Griz cheat because they have a better home field advantage than we do."
It makes me so happy seeing nonsense like this after your entire fanbase and a multitude of FCS writers spent months chastising Griz fans saying similar things about our 2022 campaign as sore losers making pathetic excuses.Yes gris earned the #2, no doubt.
The Championship game is played at a neutral site for a reason.
I think NDSU and MSU would’ve put up better runs against SDSU than the gris. All playoff the gris relied on special teams and eventually the luck ran out. MSU’s and NDSU’s o and d-line held their own in both games whereas the gris o-line got mowed over… how else can you explain your “Jerry Rice” running back getting 18 yards. Not to mention Bergen who went 4 for 25 yds… although he had one nice return. All I’m saying is the gris only had one tough away game and they looked AWFUL, literally 3 points. I will say the defense did fine against an incredibly talented SDSU offense but man the offense got bullied.
Like I said the brawl can cause some crazy stuff. Explain 55-21 and 49-14… gris have had some good teams in the past that have done the same as the cats did last year. Sometimes you lose momentum and struggle late in the year.
I don't think he's being serious. I think he's one of the usual suspects who try to make Bobfans look ridiculous. Why spend his entire day here? I don't want to believe that level of stupidity exists in that fan base, but who knows? It makes me so happy seeing nonsense like this after your entire fanbase and a multitude of FCS writers spent months chastising Griz fans saying similar things about our 2022 campaign as sore losers making pathetic excuses.
It's awesome to see the depths you'll sink to in order to still claim your bubz were somehow the better Montana team last season.
