It ain’t EWU- just a really bad matchup for the Griz. They’re bigger, stronger and can stop the Griz guards from driving without fouling. As we know, Griz are pretty bad when that’s what they’re forced to do.

He has beat the holy hell out of Travis 3 times this season. Did you hear how he built the program? Not one kid has transferred out of EWU and nary a kid has transferred in. Built it from the ground up at a craphole of a school. Likely on to a huge payday. So there's that.....
 
When the Griz, now being literally blown out by EWU, I remember Syracuse and Michigan doing the same but at least UM was well compensated by the NCAA. I bet MSU plays EWU much closer than the Griz are doing. I just don't know why UM fails to show up against EWU but I think MSU will do better. Glad this season is done. But, next year might just be a repeat of this year unless the coaching staff can shake things up,
 
When the Griz can’t just rely on Whitney and Beasley going to the cup with little to no help side from the other team, they are preeettttyyy bad.

Cravens is actually damn insightful, witty and easy to listen to. Plus he knows more about basketball than anyone on this board.
 
You know what is so puzzling about this performance? We have played Georgia, Arizona, USC, and never got a butt-whipping like EWU is giving us. I watched both regular season EWU games, both of which were blow-outs by EWU. In both games, the Griz tried to run that offense where our guards penetrated to the rim..... and it did not work against EWU. It worked against Weber, but I don't get why Travis did not learn from the two regular season games that the guards trying to penetrate into the paint against all of the beef that EWU has does not work! He needs to change the offense against EWU to shoot more 3s. But, his offense is not designed to free-up 3-point shooters. As another poster said, "we do not match-up well with EWU". I agree. I think they would beat us 10/10 if we played them 10 games!

All those big schools overlook a team like Montana. EWU just wants to punch them in the face and then do it again.
 
Last possession the Griz threw 5 passes around the perimeter, with not a single player even looking to pass the ball inside. What purpose do those passes provide. This offense sucks.
