UC Davis @ #7 Montana Game Thread

If this offense shows up rest the season, we will be contending. UCD offense is solid. Their defense also needs some improving.

So far, overall I am pretty pleased from this game.

So solid they gave up 77 points last week at home?

Uh read my post again. I posted that their "OFFENSE" is solid.
Their defense gave up those points last week. :thumb:

my point is that I am not sure how much you can take away from the Griz offense playing against the UCD defense...

missed it...was it a safety trying to cover the wheel route again?

The outside WR looked to be running a quick in or stop route. DB came up some, then they threw it about 20 yards downfield on the sideline. Totally fooled the secondary.
 
That was a huge letdown by the defense, allowing a 4th down conversion in the air.

I am most excited about JJ looking like the JJ of old, and our play calling helping their personnel this game. The OL has not been expected to maintain pass blocks as often with a fair number of quick passes being called. That has been a huge difference for the offense today.
 
Damn, they beat us again in the middle for that TD. Come on offense, answer their score again. Looked like he got a foot down to me.
 
Looked to me like he didn't have possession until he was out, but that's a close call.

Let's go offense. We can put it away here.
