It’s my right to speculate. Oh no wait it’s not. Thought police on E-Griz said so.

You don't quite get it. It is not that you want to speculate, even though it is actually none of your business, it is that your speculation seems to be that there is some big cover-up, that it might be like Penn St, and his own statement could be coerced and not even really his own. That is class A wackadoodle type stuff.

Bingo!

I never said anything might be like that I said I hope it wasn’t like that. I think a few of you misconstrued what I said. I admit it was a bad example to reference. My main speculative point is there could be an underlying reason that he decided to leave that he is unwilling to disclose (it’s his right to omit it), it could be something as simple as he didn’t feel like he was getting enough respect or lack of playing time.

How many commercials have we seen TG in since NIL? Anybody seen his griz jerseys selling like hot cakes? Have any of the Griz players gotten any sweet deals for their likeness?

Was there an opportunity for TG to make money?

This is currently irrelevant to the scholarship.

Misconstrued bingo for the loss.

This better not be because of something like the Penn State scandal 🧐. Please tell me there isn’t something being covered up internally.

What the fukc do you think speculation is?

Speculation could involve various probability from less than .000005% up to 99.9% likely. To suggest something “may be true” usually indicates a 50/50 kind of chance. You and others have brought up this Penn state comment more than I. Who’s worse the fool or the fool who follows him? Please drop it already.

I hope it didn't have anything to do with aliens or selling counterfeit fishing lures to senior citizens. Also, if the staff is involved in a multi-national Ponzi scheme, there could be major issues. Was there a poisoning incident that led to this? What are they hiding?

All possible, I’m more worried the staff is caught up in a scheme to pirate unreturned Blockbuster videos to sell on the Serbian black market though.

The point, why speculate that it could be like Penn St at all. Why would someone even post that? The kid posted a statement, yet you want to believe there is some big cover-up. What a moron.

It’s important to remember that this isn’t the first time UM has been through this. Many will remember the 1968 offensive lineman group photo where they were forced by the coaching staff to participate in a presser to deny the no-show jobs allegations.

It wasn’t until early 1969 when starting right tackle Tank Murdock blew the whistle on the scam through his Twitter account.

No I don’t. If you can read I admitted it was a bad thing to reference. I never said I want to believe that there’s a big cover up, I speculated that there could potentially be underlying issues not disclosed publicly. You’re now putting words in my mouth and it seems you’re more fixated on this subject than anyone else. Time to move on, jackass.

 Everybody knows many tweets in the late 1960s were coerced. I think something bigger was at play, and the no-show jobs allegations were the patsy. Tank owes us an explanation.

Tyler. You are a class act and thank you for your time, energy, effort and participation in our team. If you read egriz and have seen this egotistical shit show, you have shown more class in your twitter post than anyone who posts here. Best wishes to you and your future, you have earned it.

Exactly, you speculated.

This thread is a train wreck, even by eGriz standards.

Was thinking the same thing EG. It was going along fine when I read this morning. Pop on this afternoon and it went from 3 pages to 8 of some of the most idiotic things I have read. And that's saying something.

Some "fans" are completely out of their minds.

FWIW I hope this kid does well with whatever he decides to do away from football.

Over/Under 17 pages…

Can the university bill keintz and ganoung now? If not, why not? NIL rules now allow student athletes to make money outside of the institution, therefore, we should hold them accountable to their bill. Sorry but you can’t have this both ways. Either you stay on the team, or pay back the scholarship. Players are no longer “students first”. That trope died with the NIL legislation no?

who should "pay back" all the money for scholarships at other institutions that went to guys who quit those teams and transferred to the griz? you know, the starters and such you cheer on every game?
