No accusations were made, just mere speculation.

Even so, why speculate? Would you be pissed if I speculated about you? I would guess, yes.
If I was a football player on college team and suddenly quit voluntary (assuming non-medical reasons), no I wouldn’t be pissed. I would understand, the football team and fans depended on me being there and I suddenly left.

This is from Tyler’s personal statement on a college recruiting site from years ago but may be relevant for discussion.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

“My Collegiate goals and aspirations are to play college football and have as much fun as possible doing it. I love the sport of football and Love playing it to my full ability. I also would like to study in Law to become either a state trooper, or a local sheriff. Also in college, I would like to meet new life long friends and just have a great time.
What makes me a good candidate is just my performance and effort level to football, Leadership, Dedication, Effort, and Drive to want to play college football at my best ability.
What sets me aside from every other recruits is my character, I'm always looking to get better if its either working out, school work, or playing football its self in a position. For athletics, I will drive my self to get better and succeed to my best as possible, and when i'm there, I will keep going. With academics, I am a all a, and b student. I will never be ineligible for one game, and or get anything lower than a b- on any class.”

This doesn’t add up to me. I suspect there could be something going on internally that has led to players leaving, first OL player that left earlier this year the reason is mental health, this next one, Tyler no exact explicit reason given as to why? Also, both players immediately removed from the online Griz roster on the website… Smells fishy.

Can the university bill keintz and ganoung now? If not, why not? NIL rules now allow them to make money outside of the institution, therefore, we should hold them accountable to their bill. Sorry but you can’t have this both ways. Either you stay on the team, or pay back the scholarship. Players are no longer “students first”. That trope died with the NIL legislation no?

You must be great fun at parties.

Usually :thumb: these kinds of questions arise with NIL legislation dude. We have the juxtaposition of a state subsidized entity and NIL rules that position players as free market entrepreneurs. We all have a say now. The “student athlete” is a thing of the past. College players are now paid semi pro athletes, and are paid in the form of education and ads.

And you decided to speculate if it was something like Penn St. Congrats.

I saw it and I think it either looks coached or coerced. Let’s here that straight from the horses mouth shall we?

Once again, speculation based on absolutely nothing other than you think there has to be more to the story, and you feel entitled to get to the bottom of it.

What the fuck for?? They earned their scholarship while playing for the team. Now that they're not they will lose their scholarship. Have you ever left a job? Did you pay back your salary when you did?

Fvck it. You know what? I got it!! We should turn WGS into a Roman Collesium. Bring on the damn lions!!!! These 20 year olds were put on this earth to entertain us, goddamit and if it takes losing a few to a couple of hungry lions, I say DO IT, DAMMIT!!!!!

Holy shit you’re now borderline psychotic about this. Are you fucking serious? Get a grip here man. This is directly from him! What the fuck else do you want??

Rolls your eyes, but give me a coherent argument as to why I shouldn’t expect otherwise.

Some annual employment contracts actually contain early termination fee clauses…

You would be right, if he finished the semester on the team, but he didn’t.

My god, you are one sick puppy.
For being investigative and speculative? If there was something like Penn Stategate going on wouldn’t you want it to be detected so it could be stopped?

If we are depending on someone who is just done with playing FB (isn't even entering the portal), we could be in a spot of trouble. Do you think someone in that position would be ready to give it his all for the remainder of the season? I've quit jobs before with a different plan in place, and that time between giving notice and my last day were, shall I say, quite leisurely. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think it's pretty common.

A Video exit interview would have been so much more formal and professional. Would have helped cleanup a speculation and questions.

Fine. Ganoung should pay his bill now. These are paid players at this point. If not they should sign commitment paperwork that states that no one but the UM can profit from their NIL while they attend the UM.

Because you believe you are entitled to it, because his written statement isn't good enough for you. You are quite a piece of shit, aren't you.
