So this makes you entitled to act like an ass?

Well Griz football is a product and I’m a buying customer so yes I have the right to complain about its performance.

Guess I missed your post on "performance". I just saw numerous post with you speculating about a young man that decided to move on with his life.

maybe some of you almighty fans should just take his word for it why he quit same as CK. Both praised the coaches and teammates so does not sound like staff had anything to do with it. I wish him the best and I think he has said all he needs to say, just because you buy a ticket to a game does not mean you are "entitled"

It is strange. It would be less strange if it were a different position, but Oline attrition is a trend at this point, and we should probably wonder why.

This better not be because of something like the Penn State scandal 🧐. Please tell me there isn’t something being covered up internally.

JFC, want to throw out some more speculation.

performance relates to the players, no players = no performance. Just because I care about players showing up and committing and wondering why they decided to quit does not mean I’m entitled.

I would but I don’t want the Missoulian to suddenly start covering Griz football for all the wrong reasons.

Care...no, speculating and calling things into question, digging for ulterior motive....yes.

Were ganoung and keintz on scholarship? If so do we get to be a little pissed that they used those scholarships and subsequently hung up their cleats, essentially taking up two spots on a team? If not why? Where do scholarships at a state subsidized university come from? Do fans have a vested interest?

So making up wild ass accusations is the remedy for jumping out in front of the media? Call me unimpressed.

Let me volunteer a lesson I learned from decades of of managing people. You don’t want people in your organization that no longer want to be there. If you keep them around you will likely rot from the inside.

Great point but also I have a point. Mindsets and behavior internally can become contagious. Who’s to say the last OL who decided to leave didn’t have something to do with why Tyler left too. Is there a common denominator here that wasn’t addressed leading up to more turnover of player (s). I’d bet there is, More to this story…

Your supposition could be right, Tim. The problem is that teams are insular and unless you’re part of that locker room, you won’t know.

We can spin machinations until the cows come home but in the end we won’t know a thing without more information coming forward from within the locker room.

How do you know how genuine this post was. Who actually wrote it? Who signed off on it? Did the Griz football program request or require certain information be disclosed in the post such as thanking the coaches and teammates was this post voluntary or coerced. We DON’T EXACTLY KNOW.

Tim. C'mon with this. Have you ever just felt burned out with something and you just lost interest in doing it? This isn't like a kid trying little league for the first time, hating it, and his parents telling him to to just finish the season. DI football is a huge commitment of time and body.

I understand people thinking he should have finished the season, but I don't really agree for many reasons. I can see more than one player try to get back into it after a lost season and realizing they are just ready to move on with life.

:thumb:  great point. At the end of the day I just hope the players are being treated fairly and treated well and Griz football is looking out for their mental health and well being.

Sure, but can I call you a petty ass for feeling that way? Did your first boss get to feel pissed after taking the time and money to train you only to see you quit and go to work elsewhere?

You should have started with this and then not posted the other crap.

I have and I it could be the Pandemic is truly to blame for this turnover situation. I’ve been called entitled for what I’ve said, maybe I am feeling a little entitled. For the first time in a long time we had amazing size and depth at the OL and now all of a sudden it feels like that depth is gone.

What matters is not how we start but how we finish.

Can the university bill keintz and ganoung now? If not, why not? NIL rules now allow student athletes to make money outside of the institution, therefore, we should hold them accountable to their bill. Sorry but you can’t have this both ways. Either you stay on the team, or pay back the scholarship. Players are no longer “students first”. That trope died with the NIL legislation no?

No accusations were made, just mere speculation.

Even so, why speculate? Would you be pissed if I speculated about you? I would guess, yes.
