He didn't get the HC job because not many people liked the guy. Plus he caused or created division in the locker room. His defenses struggled to find consistency regularly. One thing that I have been told, and seen for myself about Ty's defense is that they are consistently unprepared for the snap of the ball. His defense is predicated on him making a call to the defense before the snap of the ball. If you pay attention, his defenses will often be looking at the sidelines all the way up to the snap of the ball, not leaving them a lot of time to get in position. There are even instances where the ball is snapped and half the defenders are facing the sideline. This is something that occurred as UM as well as MSU. I think Ty is a smart guy, and understands how to defend offenses really well, but his players need to figure that stuff out too. his defense cant constantly be relying on him to read the offense and make a pre snap call, they are caught off guard all too often.


I'm fairly certain that Ty isn't even on the sidelines during the game.

Well, for sure the State defense is much better than last year. They didn't have a defense last year.
They can't have a defense or offense without good players and they don't have them.

Actually there is a lot of Bobcat gear to be seen in Billings. I was in the west end Target and all the Griz wear is about sold out, but there was a lot of Bobcat gear left.

Having lived in Boz where everyone is high on the Wilcoxsons bandwagon... It's not that great of an ice cream, which I can see why they would latch onto a not so great team. Big Dipper is where it's at
