Look's like the game will be on channel 460 on DISH for gameplan viewers. However, NOT in HD.

edit: and to make things worse, it no longer is on all access. Guess I'm paying $26 for a SD game.

How about Hailey, ID or are we just sol ?

So I live in the Tri-cities area and I've got the local channels but I can't find SWX. Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind. Just saw on the SWX website that it's not available on satellite.

Try picking it up over the air. I can get it perfect by antenna in Spokane.
You could go to Best Buy or something like that and pick up one of those flat digital antennas to get SWX in Tri-cities. If it's not on Root or Altitude on DirecTv that's what I use in Coeur d'Alene to receive SWX in Spokane.

I just ordered GamePlan for the weekend on Dish. I could have taken my chances with Espn3, but with our terrible internet speeds I didn't want to take the chance of missing half the game.

How about billings area? maybe i should just go to buffalo wild wings again... yeah, unless someone else knows where to catch a Griz game in Billings. thnx

This. I've got wedding to go to there Saturday afternoon , and I was thinking Hooligan's since it's close to the church and hotel we're at. Any idea if they'll give equal time to this and the scat game/will we have to deal with a bunch of bobcat assholes?

Htowngriz, Hooligan's is a good Griz bar. Though Saturday they will have a mix of both cat & Griz fans because of the overlapping game times. Even though the Montana game kicks off later than the msu game, the bar will tune in as many of their tv screens to the Grizzly game as are showing little brother's game in bozo. With both games on seating will probably be tight but Hooligans is a good choice if you're going to be in or near downtown Billings.
:ugeek:

Thanks for the info 82. We'll be at the Northern, so we might try Jake's close by if Hooligan's is too packed. :thumb:

Anyone know of a specific network/channel covering it for the Bison---independent of the Cowles telecasts? There's some stuff on the NDSU website, but it isn't very clear.

Thanks!
Assuming you'll be in Washington state, your best choice will be ESPN3 if your internet service provider carries it. NBC ND is just all the North Dakota NBC affiliates - doesn't help you. MidcoSN is Midcontinent Cable System's sports network - doesn't help you. ESPN GamePlan might become an option later in the week, but I wouldn't make plans based on it. Sometimes they pick up our game, sometimes they don't. If all else fails, go for the GoBison webcast. It should be the same feed as the TV broadcast, but we've had technical issues with Sidearm Sports in the past(the streaming service).

Where do you see this game will be on Midco SN?

When I wrote that, MidcoSN was listed on GoBison. When the list was updated to include ESPN GamePlan, Midco was removed. I don't know if the Midco was originally there in error, or if getting GamePlan forced them to pull it from Midco.

I'm in Colorado, so cant answer for ID.

The last 2 games we got here in Salt Lake on Altitude SWX 681-1. I thought I heard them say at the end of the last game that we will see you in Fargo next week. The game gets listed late in the week if they are showing it. I know roots NW is showing EWU vs MSU.

Yes it is on 460 in Hailey, but thta costs 26 dollars unless you subscribe to gameplan

Sorry, if this has already been posted, but I just found out. DISH has been added to ESPN3!! So, if you have a DISH account, you can get ESPN3.

Just select DISH when it ask's you for your provider, login in (DISH account) and your set.

Now I don't have to pay $26 for the game and it will be in HD!

I saw the same thing, might have to go to Pub85 in Kirkland or pay $26 for grainy picture

Exactly. Big reason why I bought the Xbox gold membership, because it will play the game on my TV with a really nice picture. Was awesome during the playoffs last year.

Unfortunately I have Directv which hasn't partnered with Disney on ESPN (supposedly talks are in progress). But I am lucky to borrow a friend's ESPN3 account so I can get all the Bison games on ESPN3 no problem in HD. I used to subscribe to ESPN Gameplan every season for $120 a season. It's freakin 2014 and they still don't have it in HD. It's great that the WatchESPN app is now on several streaming devices like Amazon Fire TV, Roku ETC, and not just Xbox. I find it much more reliable on my Fire TV as opposed to my Xbox.

Do you live in Hailey? I spent about seven years there growing up.

Game will also be on ABC Montana stations in HD.
My bad if this has already been pointed out.
You're probably right, DuCharme. Last weekend, either the Griz or Bobcat game was on SWX on a local channel (maybe ABC). I don't think we in Missoula, if not all of MT, have to sweat it.

Cmon on down to the Pub Lake--you''ll enjoy it with about 30 or so more of your fellow Griz! :)
