Stitt: Road wins are big especially in conference. Less distractions on the road.

KVA: Most teams in the conference can win any given Saturday

Stitt:

- Weber runs the ball well, need to force 3rd and longs.

-"Losing Lorenzo was tough" called it the "same thing as before" (which I think was a high ankle sprain... but he missed the first 3 games because of that...)

- Brady will be back this season, just not sure when, doesn't want to discuss specific injuries to give help to our opponents.

- Davis threw us some stuff we didn't expect defensively. Need to prepare for a lot of different looks. Weber has been good against the pass and decent against the run.

KVA:

- Weber has had some tough games against good opponents and has played well against them. Need to make sure the defense knows what it needs to do this weekend.

Stitt:

- We feel like we have a great defense. (when asked if the Griz could shut out Weber) "We believe we can".

- (On the NAU game and what they did to the Cats) "We're not really worried about that, I don't really know what's going on in the Big Sky, could care less."

KVA:

- (How good is the Grizzly D-line?) Linebackers get the glory for the hard work the D-line does statisically

- (Any trash talk from the D-line leading the team in interceptions?) No, usually it's the back-end (DBs) that trash talk the most.

Stitt:

- (Seeing anything from Weber's defense that looks familiar?) Reminds him of Cal Poly - makes you grind out yards. Going to approach it the same way they have with the last two games with Chalich. Have some new wrinkles they've put in this week that they hope to catch Weber off guard with.

- (On Calhoun) Will play him a lot, top 2 RB, could've used him right out of the gate. Now that he's not redshirting he will be a big part of the run game.

I wish someone would ask him why he isn't using Janssen. He has made some pretty amazing catches in the past vs not many drops-when he has had the chance to play.

I seem to recall somebody did a few weeks ago, but I can't remember what the answer was.

Something along the lines of "We use the guys we can trust."

I'm wondering the same thing about Jansen. Seems like he was a go-to receiver last year and made some impressive catches in traffic.
