Simply admire the "creativity" in hate. I'm glad it is for a real reason like taking a knee at the end of a game and celebrating a win over a rival instead of doing something weird like writing "FTG" on his arms or committing a crime. Yup, the kid (like the majority of student athletes) deserves vile treatment from fans for working his butt off, playing hard and putting up solid numbers.

As I said before, I'm glad this crap doesn't happen on egriz. Right havrgrizfan?

He must have been so proud to get that huge win of a 9 point margin over the 2012 Grizzlies. Considering that there was a newspaper clipping of the blow out of 2011 that stayed taped to a wall in their locker room for full year. They should be happy they didn't have to face the 2011 Griz again. They faced SHSU and had the almost exact same results. Honestly tho, how many times are they gonna piss on the toilet seat before they learn lift it up??

Yup - I can't believe it either. Why would he be proud to win the Brawl of the Wild? You certainly don't see the Griz acting that way after a win over the Cats. More reason to hate that student athlete!

And yeah - SHSU (since that was what we were talking about :? ). The Griz throttled SHSU in 2011 . . . except for the first half . . . and only lost because they ran out of time. That was one of the greatest almost wins of all time. It would have happened again in 2012 had it not been for that stupid 5-6 record. Dang it.

Mthead, does my post at ANY TIME say Griz fans don't do the same thing? Nope, try another approach please. I don't speak for Egriz or any other Griz fans. I speak for myself and you won't find a SINGLE post of mine in how many ever I have where I have bashed a Bobcat player. However, I will challenge you to find five threads on Egriz with the a title that is completely devoted to bashing a Cat player. I can find the McGhee one so you're down to finding four. I can find five on Bobcat nation in about five minutes.

I applaud and respect you for not bashing student athletes. I am simply pointing out that some Griz fans (like some Cat fans as you elected to point out) are not like you.

I think both you and I know that there are MANY posts (regardless of titles) on Egriz that single out and bash student athletes / Cats players. Heck, your fellow fan is doing a fine job right now. If you think there is a difference between that and tread titles (without reading the content of those threads), well I guess we will agree to disagree...

of course this never happens in grizland. in fact, I remember our 0-11 team that may have been the worst in the nation getting routed by the griz in Bozeman. the fans hardly cheered. the griz players certainly didn't celebrate the win. hell...they were so about business you couldn't even tell if they enjoyed beating us by what felt like 50.

Perhaps, but if are looking at this logically (ha), JJ would've had a hard time beating out McGhee in 2010. McGhee was a RS Fr, JJ a true frosh. And I saw JJ play when he was a true freshman... McGhee won the conference offensive MVP that year. And I doubt anyone, including JJ, would've usurped McGhee after that. JJ might be starting as a senior for MSU in this scenario, after McGhee is gone.

Now if we are in some sort of fantasy football world where we can pick and choose right now, I'd have to really think hard about it.

Maybe you didn't see JJ and McGhee play on the same (MSU) field in 2011 - their only encounter. You can have McGhee; he doesn't perform in the big games.

Of course most Cat fans will say DM is better, and probably a bunch of griz fans would choose JJ, however I have some good friends that are huge griz fans and they even say that he may end up being better but it's too early in his career to say for sure.

The point was, that if he were in Bozo... he'd still be stuck behind DM. Do you honestly think the coaching staff would have benched the National Player of the Year, All American DM after his Freshman year, and put JJ in there? If you do then you guys are dumber than I thought.

And furthur more, there would have been no need to bench DM after his FR year if JJ was a cat then because JJ would have started before DM.

I agree, All this talk about who is bad or good is just that-TALK. Let the season begin. We will see who is good or bad at the end of the season. It will be played out on the field, not here on egriz. Can't wait for next week!
