About 10 years ago. Some people still aren't over the fact DD and Don Read aren't coming back.
Baller1 said:TMac was really solid today. He managed the game well, showed toughness, did not turn the ball over and made a few nice throws down field to Ellis Henderson. He also led us to a lopsided victory against a solid opponent. He wasn't deadly accurate today, but he is developing. The future is bright for #11......

This. But you're gonna piss off Shiny Bobble's cheerleaders. Right now I'm hoping we finish at least 4th in the Big Sky.G&B said:Baller1 said:TMac was really solid today. Solid??? What game did u watch? The O looked like something u find in a toilet. Poor kid can't throw deep to save his life. Sorry is I make anyone mad its just the truth. The D was ok.
If we go to the wishbone...griz5700 said:TM is our best option at qb and he's impressed me so far. Especially for being a RS freshman... 95 yds passing looks pretty blah, but he has solid command of this offense, has speed, and his passing has improved tremendously from last year. Seriously though, who does he have to throw to? Gratton and Carver? Those are two very average receivers. Gratton -2 yds, Carver 2 yds today. Those two just don't have the speed to make the first defender miss in our screen game. And they won't all season. Gratton played well at App but he and Carver aren't worrying any D. Coordinators. Gratton's blocking is a big plus however and that's where he can help us.
TM can't throw deep... And who is our deep threat this year w/o Jabin? Haynes and Henderson are the only two who can stretch the field, but we haven't seen that develop. Our veteran receivers are the weak link of this offense. It was nice to see Henderson get involved today and I hope we continue to see Henderson, Haynes, and Saylor get more looks.
Some of you guys just don't and never will understand what we need from our qb for this offense to click. And some (growler) are just racist - just no other way to slice it after reading the threads about our QB "battle". We don't have a qb on this roster with a strong arm who can sit in the pocket and deliver balls into tight windows. And we probably never will as long as we run this offense.
We do have a solid, young QB who is developing nicely. This offense and team will be solid come November.
Sadly well said.krammer said:imo, t.m. was very average, even for a r/s freshman, i thought our defensive secondary was not even average,,,eastern washington will kill us, if we don't get this squared away....our c/b can't cover and our safties, well, they play it safe alright,,tully is not a hitter and hermy is suffering the sophomore jinx, i guess...just sayin.....
