Travon Van Highlight Reel

Quite the athlete, going to miss seeing him out there. I don't recall another Griz that could make guys miss like Juice does.

He has an NFL ceiling for potential. His versatility and athleticism should get him to a NFL camp. Pro day will be a huge day for him. He can be a combo slot, 3rd down back, and with reps a returner. What a joy he was to watch as a GRIZ. I hope he gets his shot at the NFL.

As a RB, he still needs to realize to be a little more patient and put his foot in the ground to go N-S. He danced too much E-W in hopes of always breaking the big one.

He was better utilized as the x-factor, but I don't see him as a true RB or slot in the NFL. Just my opinion, but I did appreciate the mercurial moves he always provided. Best of luck Juice!

TV should watch his own highlight reel. He's clearly best when moving north/south and attacking the hole. He breaks a lot of ankles, but he doesn't break many tackles.

Is he the most underutilized Griz player of all time? This will bring a ton of opinions I realize and in my recent memory I cant think of a player with his skill set and rare ability that we mismanaged worse than TV....and he still had a good season!

Jefferson Heidelberger was great. It seemed like his Griz time was over in a flash. Some of his moves are now on display by Kupp.

2nd on the team in all purpose yards with 1256 only behind Jordan Canada who had 1327... Seems like he wasn't under utilized being 2nd on the team. Van and Canada are/were our two most versatile athletes on offense IMO.

Imagine what he coulda done if they woulda used him more...PUNT RETURN..KICK RETURN...

We don't see that kind of talent often at the FCS level. I don't think he was underutilized as he was a mediocre receiver and jukes side to side too much. Fun to watch though and I hope he has a great pro-day!

2nd leading rusher. 2nd leading receiver. The triumvirate was Canada, Van and Jones. I don't think we "underutilized" him....but Canada's success running the ball relegated him to essentially a receiver.

Agreed, I think it was a "good problem" for the 2014 team to have two great running backs and one that was versatile enough to move to WR.

For his professional aspirations it'll probably really help the guy get a shot as an ATH because they'll see he's a good receiver, runner, and has PR/KR potential.

As a cat fan, i am so happy Travon Van and Zach Waggenman are gone. Those are two extremely talented dudes. I thought Van had Taiwan Jones type talent.
