Traveling GRIZ Gear

As I was walking through BWI Delta Terminal, I hear GO GRIZ!
I turn to where the voice was from, he again said GO GRIZ, and. added, Eat S H I T Cats. He said he was in a hurry, but GRIZ love, Brother. That was it. Loved it!

Here in Colorado, I was at Wal-Mart and coming at me in the aisle was a little old lady barely pushing her cart. She looked to be about 5' tall, about 100 years old and hunched over. I was wearing a Griz shirt and as I passed by her, she glanced up at me, lifted her fist about 10" and said, "Go Griz". Warms the heart.

Got that often around the Denver metro area.

Most unassuming place I’ve gotten a “Go Griz” - was wearing a UM Hoodie at a Red Sox game at Fenway a few years ago. This woman and I walking past each other noticed one another’s Griz gear. Random moment I won’t forget!

:) I was recently in Idaho at Silverwood and noticed several people wearing Griz Gear and gave a "Go Griz" shout out. We were in Spokane the next day at Dicks sporting Goods and noticed a Griz Gear section near all the Washington teams gear. Not a Bobkitten shirt shirt in sight! :)

We went to New York City around the holidays a few years back. As we were standing in Rockefeller Center a guy tapped and yelled “Hey” and pointed at my Griz hat and then tugged on his old school copper and gold griz sweat shirt. We shared a mutual Go Griz! Always love running into griz fans, players, or coaches when out and about.

I was wearing a Griz Athletic Department t-shirt on a small beach in Kona earlier this year & I hear "you're a little old to be on the team, aren't you" (I'm in the 75+ demographic). Turns out to be Robert and Dr. Barbara Holmann, former Dean of UM Business School & VP of Student Affairs, respectively. Barbara was the first asst. AD many years ago, I believe. Some great conversation ensued.
