Yes, per Vigen he was used differently as the starter after the Griz game. His plays were limited up until the first playoff game.

So you’re saying Sixx is incompetent.

Or very smart and willing to make difficult decisions! Though I’d be just fine if he’s the most incompetent coach to ever win the national championship! ;)

You can say you have a good QB or a competent coach, but both can’t exist in the Bobcats’ scenario this season. I’m with you. I’d take a dumb coach over a dumb QB. Sixx will be liked. Just look how much you guys liked Choach.

I liked Choate a lot. Visited with him briefly last weekend and he’s very excited for his sons opportunity to win a national championship.

I think Mellott is a good qb and I think Vigen was smart to make the move. Coaches make changes at qb all the time. Though I feel this one wasn’t too difficult as McKay was regressing for over a month and a change was needed or there’s no way we’re playing football next weekend. Looks like a better and better move every game we’ve played since the Brawl.

Lastly, there is no way a fan base of Bobby Hauck should be casting any stones on the likability of another head coach. Ever.

I think Choach was very likable. He had that Forrest Gump/Marv from Home Alone way about him. I don’t know if I’d be able to pick Sixx out of a lineup without dying of boredom.

As for the change looking better since the Brawl, it’s just odd. It’s almost like you’ve been playing teams of a different quality or something.

As for Bobby, you shut your whore mouth😉

Have you ever talked to BH one-on-one? Fantastically engaging and likeable man. He does not prioritize his persona with the press for which he neither trusts nor respects.

I have. Played in a golf scramble with him during his first tenure. Sadly my grandfather is a big gris booster. Had a great time. He didn’t let me hear the end of it all round about the gris dominance over the cats. All in good fun.

I’m on record saying I think he’s a good guy. He’s smart and knows his audience. He’s god in Missoula and I understand his following. But in general terms you have to understand that outside of Missoula and the water he walks on, he’s a very easy guy to dislike.

Though I’ve never met the guy, I think the same about Sixx. I mean, it’s just they way he…and how he…uh…there was that one time he did something that just whelmed me. I honestly believe he would order a snow cone with no flavoring while vacationing in Topeka.

BTW, what kind of move does Bobby put on a golf ball? I’m guessing a little steep in transition and some pull-hooks.

Don’t recall much about his game other than his short game was nice. Great touch around the green and putting was good. You’d have to defer to PR to get the full scope of his game.

I’m a shitty golfer and was pretty nervous if I’m being honest so the vodka was flowing like water. I’d play again though if I got the invite. That Great Falls course is actually pretty nice.

Classic BH. Doing the little things that make a big difference. I’ve never played in Great Falls. Maybe we should get a team together next year and dominate. I’m partially of Eastern Bloc descent, so the vodka is water when the occasion is right.

Count me in!! Use to be an 8 handicap before my body went all funhouse mirror on me... Great Falls has a couple fun little courses.

All of this - Bobby by all accounts off the field is a guy you'd want to go kill a grizzly bear with. Or whatever. Many over here believe that ESGGCG is in response to his rhetoric over the years though. I like that he's toned it down, regardless of why. Part of me is hoping the Cats are celebrating in Frisco & ESPN has to cut away ....... :thumb:

We will find a way to get this done soon. My friend sent me a picture of a book called “From Hack to Scratch”. I think my memoir will have the exact opposite title.

Our radio guy Riley is like a 4 or 5, that’s who you want on your team.

Universal Athletics has sold over a thousand Touchdown Tommy shirts.

Legendary status in MSU history.

Even the first MSU National Champion QB in 1976 (also from BUTTE mind you) is in awe of Mellott.
