Too Early 2014 Predictions

ok, so i played your game. now where are these minor charges that you say the missoulian is reporting on? (the silence on this will be deafening).

Your sentence makes no sense. And I'm not going to discuss issues that aren't already public.

there's no getting out of this one, is there. you can't say what happened, because either nothing happened and you're bluffing (no, not you!) or because you never admit that our guys do anything wrong unless they're convicted and even then you try to minimize it.

grizzy,

Your obsession with this subject, (I.e. eagerness to look up and post all these links) speaks volumes as well. You might be as bad as those with whom you debate........

Think about it.
i didn't just look them all up today i've been clipping them for years now. the motivation is from being called a liar by p.r. and i've produced support for each incident. p.r. tries to mislead and misinform and twist facts to no avail as we've all seen for years. if i say something, i support it. its been a tough pill for all of us to swallow, but it doesn't really matter the exact number issues and whether they're convictions, charges, incidents, it was a problem and seems to being getting corrected. that was point. mick is on board now and things have gotten better. i think he deserves a lot of the credit for that. we've only had a handful of incidents since he's come on board as compared to a relatively high amount prior to that. that's good, right? we can all agree on something and that is that mick has done a better job of guiding our players both on and off the field.

Not bluffing. I support players. I don't diss them and make up stuff about them and the team, like you too. Very despicable.

That's funny that you actually keep track of links. And then you serve them up--calling them "charges" when many aren't charges--and then I shoot them down.

oh it's not hard to do since they only occur on average less than once a month. call them what you want. if not charges, incidents or claims. whatever you want to call it, they're not good. they hit the media and people all over the state see it. it looks bad whether it turns out to be as bad as it looked initially or not and people make their judgments.

you didn't, btw, shoot anything down.

yeah, it's so hard to do. you really need to be obsessed to track this stuff. seems as if it's o.k. to be obsessed with sweeping stuff under the rug, but it's not o.k. to got out of your way to be factual. :thumb:

Sure, I shot some down. You said 40 "charges"--and many of them weren't "charges". You listed team disciplinary suspensions. You listed complaints, where nothing came of the complaints. There wasn't even 40 of anything listed.

So you don't have an agenda then, fine. Let me ask it this way, though I doubt it will make a dent. At what point do you just let it go? "you've been clipping them for years"

If Mick is steering the ship in the right direction as you say, at what point do you, grizzy, just move on?? Remember, you first brought this stuff up in this thread.

But yeah, no agenda.

i've been done pointing out all the negative crap that went on. i hadn't mentioned a thing about it in a long time. i brought up the positive job dennehy has been doing since taking over to compliment what p.r. said about him. it was p.r. that found a way to not be satisfied with that. he asked for proof and i hit him square in the jaw with it, gladly, because it's people like him that got us in the situation we were in. he's still the same way, but logic tells me that people like dennehy, haslam, and engstrom know that. i'm more than happy to shine the spotlight on those people that have fed the problem. everyone in the administration that matters must know of p.r. and his ilk by now. he's probably been exposed there and i don't mind letting him know that his little game is over even if he won't accept it. p.r. was perfectly fine with the way things were going under hauck and pflugrad, because he would simply minimize everything until it got so big that the n.c.a.a., d.o.j. and d.o.e. had to get involved. he still tries to blame it on outside parties. he agrees with the verdict when it goes his way, but when it goes against him (donaldson, coleman, douglas, n.c.a.a. and d.o.j.) then the verdict is wrong, regardless of who the ruling came from.

the main thing i'm putting out there is that i'm just glad to say that with mick you don't get the feeling that it's only a matter of time before someone gets in trouble. that's a credit to him and the fact that he's turned that around is a big reason why he's been one of the most respected coaches in the country. he deserves the recognition. it's great having someone you feel like you can trust calling the shots.

This is great. PR and GG standing under a golden shower arguing whether the dude drank whiskey or beer. Have at it guys, you both look petty and foolish.

After reading all the back and forth between you two it seems to me PR has actually admitted that some actions of players were wrong. You on the other hand have lumped accusations and convictions together in a list. There is a difference. If he has minimized the wrongdoings you have gone way to the extreme by trying to maximize them. Each different individual case is just that, different.

It's Delaney not Dennehy.

Stop with your ncaa, DOJ and DOE nonesense. What you are saying is not correct. The ncaa didn't start its investigation because of crimes committed by players. It was because someone tipped them that 2 players had gotten free legal services and a loan for bail money for a week. The DOJ didn't start investigations of the City police, County attorney, or University police, because of any player criminal problems. It was because of alleged discrimination of those organizations in pursuing sexual assault matters. The DOE came in for sexual discrimination stuff. In addition, some nut had sent in an idiotic claim involving discrimination by the UM athletic dept, coaches and players. In regard to players and the football team, not a single thing involving players was even mentioned in any of the reports.

Yes, Delaney gets credit. I already said that. But it is absolutely not true that any prior coach or O'Day had a win at all cost attitude. Just plain not true.

You can keep serving up your incorrect information and lies as much as you want, and I will continue to point out your mistakes and lies.
