yeah, it's so hard to do. you really need to be obsessed to track this stuff. seems as if it's o.k. to be obsessed with sweeping stuff under the rug, but it's not o.k. to got out of your way to be factual. :thumb:

So you don't have an agenda then, fine. Let me ask it this way, though I doubt it will make a dent. At what point do you just let it go? "you've been clipping them for years"

If Mick is steering the ship in the right direction as you say, at what point do you, grizzy, just move on?? Remember, you first brought this stuff up in this thread.

But yeah, no agenda.
i've been done pointing out all the negative crap that went on. i hadn't mentioned a thing about it in a long time. i brought up the positive job dennehy has been doing since taking over to compliment what p.r. said about him. it was p.r. that found a way to not be satisfied with that. he asked for proof and i hit him square in the jaw with it, gladly, because it's people like him that got us in the situation we were in. he's still the same way, but logic tells me that people like dennehy, haslam, and engstrom know that. i'm more than happy to shine the spotlight on those people that have fed the problem. everyone in the administration that matters must know of p.r. and his ilk by now. he's probably been exposed there and i don't mind letting him know that his little game is over even if he won't accept it. p.r. was perfectly fine with the way things were going under hauck and pflugrad, because he would simply minimize everything until it got so big that the n.c.a.a., d.o.j. and d.o.e. had to get involved. he still tries to blame it on outside parties. he agrees with the verdict when it goes his way, but when it goes against him (donaldson, coleman, douglas, n.c.a.a. and d.o.j.) then the verdict is wrong, regardless of who the ruling came from.

the main thing i'm putting out there is that i'm just glad to say that with mick you don't get the feeling that it's only a matter of time before someone gets in trouble. that's a credit to him and the fact that he's turned that around is a big reason why he's been one of the most respected coaches in the country. he deserves the recognition. it's great having someone you feel like you can trust calling the shots.

PR,

You're wasting you time with this idiot.

It's Delaney not Dennehy.

Stop with your ncaa, DOJ and DOE nonesense. What you are saying is not correct. The ncaa didn't start its investigation because of crimes committed by players. It was because someone tipped them that 2 players had gotten free legal services and a loan for bail money for a week. The DOJ didn't start investigations of the City police, County attorney, or University police, because of any player criminal problems. It was because of alleged discrimination of those organizations in pursuing sexual assault matters. The DOE came in for sexual discrimination stuff. In addition, some nut had sent in an idiotic claim involving discrimination by the UM athletic dept, coaches and players. In regard to players and the football team, not a single thing involving players was even mentioned in any of the reports.

Yes, Delaney gets credit. I already said that. But it is absolutely not true that any prior coach or O'Day had a win at all cost attitude. Just plain not true.

You can keep serving up your incorrect information and lies as much as you want, and I will continue to point out your mistakes and lies.

that's some good lawyer-speak.
like how you pointed out the delaney-dennehy diff.
but the best part is where you make it sound like i said something i didn't say.

Well Getgwen, you certainly derailed this line of post. If you take away the incidents where there were no charges or charges were dropped or at best it was disorderly conduct, your list becomes much less than 40 players.

You guys need to get a room... and have a pillow fight.

I think PR is married, but opposites do attract you know? Perhaps there is an internet romance in the making.

I can only assume that a female that spends as much time on football message board as getgrizzy does could use all the help she can get.

Hmmm, and your coach has? When's the last time you guys won a playoff game? At least we've won some recently.
Be careful, the facts can hurt you. Since the Griz program took a turn downward in 2010, we are 2-2 in playoff games with the two losses by a total of 10 points, and with a trip to the semis. MSU, on the other hand, is 2-3 with all three losses blowouts and no trips to the semis (since '84). Let me know if you would like to work the argument back farther.

If these two kids can get together, I know there is hope for GG and PR.
