Folks are gonna have to face facts. These kids that are in to all this boom boom rap gang music stuff are dragging this program down along with there pants around their knees. They even pull some of our own kids into it. My oldest grandson is a good boy but he been listening to that crap and now he even talks like an afromerican. Absolutely humiliating to lower yourself to their level but it must be 'cool' when your college student age. Mark my word stop recruiting around the cities and the suspensions will stop.

Yeah, they come and help the Griz on the field then proceed to embarrass the school and state off the field and in public. You can think of them, but try naming a few, I guarantee I can name more that have done bad than good.

And why jump to the racial conclusion? All Ray said was that his grandson is talking like an "afro-amercian" (I'm assuming a typo or brain-fart) which is far from racist considering black folk have established their own variation of the English language.

I'm sure he is referring to his grandson talking in 'Ebonics', which is no more than slang and word shortenings. It both started, and caught on heavily in the "hood". This way of speaking has no defined syntactical structure, and a complete lack of conjugation of verbs ("I be", "she be", "thems be", etc) and the mixing of pronouns.

I know you're all trying to stay politically correct here, but get real.

Also 'inner-city' does not necessarily mean black, if anybody is racist in this thread, it's those that assume Ray was saying inner-city kids are all black.
