Tommy Mellott > Dave Dickenson

It is pathetic that Tommy is your best qb all time and he doesn’t have a winning record against the Griz.

I think your most obvious giveaway is that you too easily come off as a non-Griz fan's idea of a clueless Griz fan.

(Hoops Logic) Tommy's better than Dave. Look at the last 4 years, Dave's stats are pretty much zero. Nothing. Tommy's clearly better and the stats prove it. I will say it's interesting to be comparing any MSU qb to Super Dave, even in a troll's thread.
Dave Dickinson faced a higher level of competition.

If the cats win this weekend how many times will Tommy have led then to a National Title game? Do the Griz have any QB in their history that has led them to multiple National Championship games?
The 1AA that Dave played against was significantly stronger than the FCS Tom Mellott is playing against.
Any comparison is apples to oranges.

This is so dumb. Ask any knowledgeable Cat fan and they would call you an idiot. Look at the teams Dave played against. 1-AA was BRUTAL when Dave was at the helm. Level of competition was much better…and do us all a favor and post their stats side-by-side. Tommy is a great QB and the best in MSU history. Love the kid. Hard worker. Tough as nails. Classy. Objectively not in Dave’s league.
Have you heard of Kelly Bradley?

Yea you could argue that IAA football was way stronger during his day compared to Dickenson.
True - However Mr. Bradley was miles ahead of Tommy...

However ID care to interject that Most of Dickenson's yards are due to the fact that those griz teams passed the ball every damn play.

It can also be argued that, due to that Dickenson did miss a lot of time due to injury as well.

Bradley only really had one good year and he wasn't miles ahead of Tommy.
