Toby Keith's son Stelen Covel (Griz Recruit)

I heard Toby Keith is in town Tonight for a football recruit function due to his son signing with us. Im surprised you recruit stalkers aren't all over this.
 
Like the excitement and attention it'd bring. Very underwhelming hudl video. Will need a lot of work. A walk-on I presume?

I would assume but maybe he gets some books or something like Delaney? Who knows, his dad was pretty decent back in the day I guess.

Well, it never hurts to have high profile affiliates and maybe someday donors, right? And yes, get Snoop's kid too!!!
 
Or to the Ducks. Sadly Oregon allows pot use. Snoops son had shown interest in the Ducks in the past. However watching there TV shows I think Snoop wants his son at a school not running a spread offense. Snoop is looking NFL reciver for his son. That being the case he should head to Nebraska and play under Mike Riley!

Sort of me know wonders, if now that his former high school coach is at UNLV, does he stay in Vegas? Maybe that UFC co owner and Gorman players dad Feritta (sp), buys Snoops kids talents to stay in Vegas too! :shock:

Maybe they could also do a later halftime show with him to get the crowd back into the stadium before 2nd half kickoff.

First and foremost I was just curious and nothing more. But since you mentioned it, my guess is Stitt had some players on his team in Golden that are better than some of the players we have on our team.

I think my comment was misconstrued. I didn't mean to imply that's where we should be looking. Just because the kids dad is someone famous doesn't make him good......but it also doesn't make him bad, nor does the fact Mines was interested in him.

I agree. I'm sure if you brushed up on every recruit we have on paper after signing day there would be some others as well that at least appeared, a little sub par. Stelen may get scrutinized a bit more because of who his is. I'm not saying he is going to be great or an impact player but he's not the only one. Many kids rarely see the field through their whole career at U of M.

Cordell Broadus (Snoops son) is a highly ranked 4 star WR, with great size and speed. He has stated on national tv that his top schools are Notre Dame, Florida State, LSU, UCLA, Arizona State, and USC. His Dad (a HUGE USC FAN) said he felt that Cordell only said USC to please him. But Cordell said he wants out of LA, because his dad is LA. He wants to step out of his dads shadow, if that's even possible. Cordell is an extremely humble and polite young man.

Snoop wanted to get his son to a highly competitive HS program (they were living in Diamond Bar, CA). Snoop was offered a 1 year DJ residency at TAO in Vegas, So he took it and moved his family to Vegas with him, and enrolled Cordell at Bishop Gorman HS (6-Time State Champion and #2 in the country this past season and then they defeated the #1 team in the country...a Cali team that they beat in Vegas).

Cordell loves his HS coach, Sanchez (the brand new head coach at UNLV). But there is no way Cordell attends UNLV in my opinion.

By the way, Bishop Gorman held there team summer camp at Sacramento State this past summer.
