To Nick and Jack

You were right and I get the way the arguments went why you are salty but part of the issue is you act like you are happy the Griz fell apart almost gloating about it. I say we all compromise in the middle three all three of you out if anyone gets thrown out if the Fandom. You are just a big a clown as they are.
Schmidt was rooting against the Griz, as I said he would.

What, if anything, was Schmidt right about? Be specific. I know the Griz lost the game.

Did he get texts like this from any players, from the bus at 6:30pm?

"Thanks for the support throughout my time here, Jack. Sorry we couldn’t get it done."

"Appreciate you, and for now yeah probably gonna go home and look for a job."

He already has. Was complaining that the Griz couldn't get a call from the refs, which is par for his course. Why do you listen to his drivel? He floods the zone with shit. Yes, absolutely the Griz had a great season. But the proof's in the pudding. The Cats own Bobby. IMHO the D scheme has to change. It's unstoppable when you have the right guys, but that happens once in a decade or more. Griz must reverse the instate talent flowing to Vigen. I doubt that can happen until Bobby's gone though.
The scheme works when the Griz have more talent and speed than the offense, and can just make it snowball. Also works better at home. When they get against a team that can operate offensively the scheme falls apart because it's so unsound. It's also a bad matchup against the Cats. A gap-less defense against a team that runs inside and outside zone as well as we do is always going to be vulnerable to big gash runs if they choose the wrong gap.

Let's look at the facts.

Andrew:
1. Played for the Griz, even though his dad was a Cat coach and he grew up in Bozeman
2. Played all his college years for the Griz
3. Fervently hates the Cats with every fiber in his body.
4. Continues to root for and support the program.
5. Calls out our deficiencies TO BE CHAMPIONS, which were evident all year but some choose to overlook.

Hoops:
1. Never played for the Griz
2. Likes the spotlight of being a big supporter of the Griz
3. Glosses over deficiencies, to a fault.
4. Likely is either Bobby's agent or knows Bobby's agent.
5. Loves to name drop and appears to have a self-inflated sense of self.

douchetacular... i listened to this guy and his whiny bs about how he's helping the team be better by bitching about this and that, when the reality is nobody on the team listens to or cares about what he says. i don't understand how some people like smug guys like him who run to post 'i was right, look at me!' garbage two seconds after a loss. it is no surprise he also whines about not being given undeserved jobs after graduation, just because he played for the griz - mostly as a meaningless backup.

Lines were not up to the level of the Cats lines. And before you say the Griz lines were up to the Cats lines, the rushing yards yesterday prove otherwise.

NET RUSHING YARDS:
Griz 96 yards on 25 attempts for 3.8 yards per attempt
Bobcats 240 yards on 44 attempts for a 5.5 yards per attempt

Everything else was fairly even

And the Montanan and Bobcat you like to put down incessantly, Adam Jones from Missoula Sentinel, had one of his biggest days with 131 yards on 16 carries for a 8.2 yard per carry average and 2 TDs.

With fans like you, Hoops, my beloved Montana Grizzlies don't need enemies.

Ive held meetings with Bodnar directly, am in the roundball club for hoops and have discussed issues directly with decuire, and am a qb club member and am considering ways to discuss thoughts and ideas with the dept, respectfully.
Maybe you are the wrong guy for the job, respectfully. I don’t think you are able to judge a football program. I think you and hoops enjoy your little circle jerk and access. You guys are the problem. Stay in your lane.

We just got beat twice in one year by the Cats. It's time to take the people who are giving constructive criticism seriously and not disparage them. If you can't tell the difference between constructive criticism and "bitching and whining by smug guys", you are in the way of the Griz winning a national championship.

You are wrong. Can't wait to see you and tell you to your face. You aren't a Griz fan. You are just uninformed and opinionated jerk, as you have been your whole life. And former benchwarmer with a big mouth. That's part of the reason you aren't successful in what you do and never will be. The Griz were and are a top 2/3 team this year. I'm picking Ill St. I didn't realize you were such an asshole. Even your former teammates seem not to like you. They just shake their heads. Chase Reynolds is a 100 times better person than you are. Respected.
you’ve lost all credibility here. Enjoy the “bench” hoops.

Yes agree on not getting the stop. They didn't necessarily wear dwon I my opinion, they lost it on a horrible call on 3rd and 20. I excusable to go 3 man rush prevent in that scenario in my opinion.
The Griz have been giving up a lot of 3rd and long all season. Maybe that's why the opponents aren't phased by being in a 3rd and long.

i'm in the way of the griz winning the championship? how ridiculous - i have no influence whatsoever on how the team performs on the field. neither does schmidt. also, i am in general in agreement with his analysis of certain aspects of the griz. the problem is his 'look at me, i'm always right' smug superiority, and his apparent belief that his opinions have any impact on the griz. they don't, in his 'look at me, i'm right, and those with a different opinion should be band from griz fandom'. he's like a little baby screaming for attention, and wants everything to go his way.

Hoops is afraid of what Jones' mom would do to him in a courtroom. She's played the game; he's hidden behind high paid proofreaders at his Lake place.

To me, i don’t care where the players come from. Jones vs Fonoti? One plays, one will be a focus next year. Both excellent. To me, the deficiencies on the lines has always been telling. I’ve said before, the in state kids that they must do better with are line players. Big Montana boys that are tough and hard working. Not that the 3* recruits can’t be, but you can’t teach Montana tough. Also…teams have figured out the 3-3-5. You can absolutely run a 3-4 or 4-3 and still pressure and create matchup issues. This defense needs at least 2 lockdown CB to work, Plus someone to eat up multiple blockers on the interior for it to be effective full time. Also, having a lead helps so teams don’t power run against it. The scheme is very 2015 and the game has evolved. Just my $37 worth.

I would also like to edit that of course it would be fantastic to get all of the top kids in MT, but not definitive on me being a fan.

Why? What is the motivation to change? Hauck could go a decade putting up a winning season, round or two in the playoffs and a win over the cats every 4th year. As a CEO I'd take that deal all day if the paychecks kept hitting the bank. He has no reason to "make the necessary changes." Neither do any of his coaching staff.
This is how I think the administration looks at it as well. As long as those tickets keep getting sold out, why change?

Totally speaking out my ass on this though.
