If you think im toxic for staying positive and enthusiastic in the midst of a championship run, I'm out. Im as gutted for the team as it gets we lost. I fucking know there are areas we need to improve.

Well there's positive and enthusiastic and then there's going after other posters just because they post objective criticisms about the team. We're all here because we care too.

I can promise you that Andrew is anything but happy at this outcome but he is vindicated. He’s been vilified for pointing out obvious issues with this team. Issues which caused us to lose this game today. He’s been correct the entire season.

You are probably a really good guy but when you spend a month calling out fans that see a problem with the program - maybe you don’t get to be a victim. Being positive is good, being unreasonable is another.

The cats were not tipped pass or a bad call or a blocked field goal from losing in Missoula. Any reasonable person could see they were the better team and the Griz did an admirable job to make it close in Missoula. Today proved it out but you didn’t see it and called out every one that did see it 3 weeks ago. Own it. Learn and grow.

Toxic not right word, was echoing what Andrew said on his podcasts, he said that the whole fan base you and Jack in particular were toxic, instead of just saying okay you see these deficiencies what do you think is the solution you all started arguing to see whom was right and it got really annoying. My point that I made badly is that you both are part if the fan base. You were right to be positive there was a lot that was special about this team. He was right they still have glaring deficiencies that the Cats were perfectly suited to exploit. You were both right and no one should be able to gate keep Fandom as he suggested in his first post. I was saying you both are in positions that if instead of trying to assert dominance over each other you both agreed you are fans and worked toward helping rhe program you might do some good. I meant the toxic in that if you were toxic, his words earlier, then he is just as toxic. It was an attempt to throw his words back at him. I am out as I am not expressing myself clearly here.

Still don't see it that way. We could've won that game in missoula. Fuck n a, dont give up a bomb on 3rd and 20 via a prevent defense and today could've been different too.

Oh man has he. I heard Schmidt's podcast with Colter a couple weeks ago and asked in multiple threads if anyone had listened to it. For fun go back and look at who snarked about him, that list won't surprise you. As I recall it was...I don't have time to listen for that long....he just complains...., what does he know, etc,etc. These blowhards missed the point then & they'll miss it now, and the Cats will continue to pound the Griz. How do you think those kids felt after the game listening to 22K singing Mony Mony? If you're happy with a 2 loss season in a watered down BSC then there's no problem. If you're satisfied losing 8 out of the last 10 to the Cats, good for you. If you enjoy thinking about losing to the Cats 3 times in 13 months.....etc, etc, etc. If you want a natty, the program has to change because you're not going to solve the riddle over the hill repeating what you're doing today.

Could be true except the cats last drive went 8 minutes and included 3 time outs and the 2 minute stoppage. If you can’t get the ball back - at home - tip you cap you just lost to a way better team. The fact that you can’t grasp that is what these guys are talking about. Played out in spades today. Griz did a great job today to comeback and make it a game - until they wore down.

Yes agree on not getting the stop. They didn't necessarily wear dwon I my opinion, they lost it on a horrible call on 3rd and 20. I excusable to go 3 man rush prevent in that scenario in my opinion.

I agree with this take 1000%. Love Nick's passion and commitment, but going after posters who are not sycophantic toward the program comes across as smug and arrogant. The Griz were clearly not the better team in Missoula. Schmidt was right when he said that the Griz lines lost the LOS battle 85% of the time that game. The outcome of that game was never really in question just like the outcome of this game was never really in question. Change is clearly needed. Glad he has admitted that.
 
I'm a convert. I will admit I was wrong on this because I didn't want to admit how important it is. It starts with recruiting Montana kids hard and showing them you want them be a Griz.

Appreciate your response. But evidence points elsewhere. The cats were better x 2 this year. Season is over how do we griz get better next year? And I am tired of hearing cats will be worse next year. That is not an answer. Fuck if we can’t get better than the cats get worse what’s the point ? Let’s fucking go Griz. It start right fucking now
