I have no inside knowledge, and don't really know anything about any of these QBs, but it brings alot of excitement for the off season.

I head a few weeks ago that Gus asked for permission to look at other schools. Don't be surprised if he is gone.

Possibly an opening at Idaho. Maybe he will drop down and become a Vandal so he has a better chance at playing time.

Perhaps he knows something we don't. It's all conjecture and rumor anyways (unless it can be confirmed somehow).

Since u guys have a man crush on Gus maybe u can explain why he hasn't had any mop up time in the games we have in the 4th qtr ? I call Gus Justin Roper JR. I guess I don't see what u and our great head coach see....

Nice analysis Brint. I have been puzzled by the different skill sets of our qb's. I have a great deal of respect for MD but it is time for a change. I would love to see the spread offense return. I guess time will tell.

As stated in previous threads, you can count on MD retiring, gracefully. There will be a national search and none of the current assistants are viewed as ready for the HC job. Their fate will be up to the new HC.

Also add Chalich from Idaho to the QB speculation as there are strong rumors he is coming to UM. He has considerable FBS PT the last two years with two years eligibility remaining.

Chalich was highly recruited out of high school by the Griz at one point in his senior season.

Yes, and I believe he played for Matt Troxel's dad at Coeur d'Alene.

I know much could've changed, but I'm pretty sure Van Troxel coaches Lake City, not CDA.

Well probably because he isn't the #2 QB right now and we've only had like2 games where out backup can actually play, so......

Yes, you are right. Chalich's coach was Shawn Amos.

Amos is a grade AAA badass too. He "moved on up" to CDA from my HS right before I got there. Pretty sure he coached wrestling too.
