Are you kidding me? Dan Moore represents strength, determination, and heart. Thats what Grizzly football is all about. What we don't need right now is wanna be football players knocking the actual football players. This is about as dumb a discussion as I've read! I know one thing.. if I were Canada or Nguen I wouldn't mind having Dan Moore in the backfield with me.

I know two things for sure... I would not want to be the guy who had to try to tackle Dan... & I am VERY glad he is a Grizzly!!!

With weight lifting, yes. With being a running back, no. Plus if I can tackle my 6'3 280 lb brother, pretty sure I could tackle DM. And I weigh 175.

I guess it depends on you define tackle... take him down after he knocks you flat on your ass and he stumbles and falls, yeah probably. He did that a few times last year, ran into defenders so hard he knocked them flat/made them lose their helmet and went the ground doing so. I guess that is tallied as a tackle.

You act like tackling is hard.. They teach how to do that in elementary. And how many times did Dan get tackeled? And who cares if he has heart n strength.. He's not good enough to be a running back. Full back, yes. Rb, no. You guys are idiot sugar coaters.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Moore would be considerably more useful inside the tackles instead of the runs all the way outside the numbers. He is not the best of all time, but I love the hammer that he brings to the whip of the other two. Even if he is only gaining 2 yards per carry, the boom that he brings to the opposing team adds up through the game and makes the other backs even more effective.

Personally my favorite use of DM is to get him the ball out in the flat on a little swing pass and watch him absolutely destroy the DB's coming up trying to tackle him. Well, unless those DB's are jcu...then all bets are off.

Anybody, that knows what's good for them, would chose to tackle a 6'3" 280 lb'er (spread-out high center of gravity and lumbering/slow), than a 5'11" 240 lb'er (compact low center of gravity, and runs swiftly so there's so much more power/impact). No brainer.

i"m really impressed with the runningbacks in camp. Mick has recruited and developed/coached a ton of talent there, it's impressive. For an FCS team, we are loaded at RB. Filthy rich at that postion.

We will win a lot of games with all these guys, Nguyen, Moore, Canada, Kirschner, Walden, Hagfors, Butler and last but certainly not least, Joey Counts (ran for over 1,700 yards his SR year, over 400 yards in one game...gonna be a stud for the Griz).
