What are their 40 times? I would take Johnson over MD for speed. Interesting to know if Tripp can run down JJ.

Who is MD? I do know Tripp, at 240 lbs, is one of the fastest players on the team. JJ seems very fast also, but I think alot of it is his shiftyness. You can be quick and shifty on a football field and still run a shitty 40.

Tripp's size and speed are NFL quality. It will be interesting to see his performance at the combine next spring.

3) Jordan Johnson is God....(every Griz cheerleaders dream date) shows he can recapture some of the 'ol Magic of 2011 with a bunch of new players.....forget that he can be injury prone....and then the fan favorite's of JingleheimerHan & McKinney can display some of the deep & experienced talent at QB.

McGhee isnt that fast even for a QB, I would bet Tripp stacks up very well against that guy on any track. Gamboa is definitely faster and Owen may not be be that far behind Gamboa. Kidder would run him down and rip him apart when he caught him. If your midget makes it through the season hes gonna get planted in your mudhole of a stadium.

seriously though. i just got done fishing the Madison with a guy who's sister-in-law works with the wife of a guy on our training staff. he told me with a good amount of certainty that DM is really battling a nagging shoulder injury and there's no chance he makes it through this season.

i'm very nervous today.

The Griz have a very talented team. It will go as far as the coaching staff can take them. That's the part I would be worried about as a Griz fan. Talent wise, this should be the Griz's year. You lose a lot of very good players after this year. Your going to have a drop off in talent after this year and with the four schollies lost it is going to really hurt your depth. So, the coaches and players need to get it doen this year!

I for one have NEVER let facts get in the way.

1. I don't remember the 2011 game, I tried to find what the official NCAA stats were, but it is like that game was never played (if only that were true in my head)
2. The cats O-line this year averages 340 lbs. across the board, and 8 of the O-line starters ran track in AA schools.
3. Bill Brasky Jr. just transferred to Montana State to play linebacker, but they kicked him off the team when he impregnated all the footballs.
