The Regular Season Champion...

Should host the Big Sky Tournament. We are a one bid league. The regular season champion should have every advantage because they will almost always be the best team to put into March Madness! This Reno stuff is bullshit.

Won't get many counter arguments on here on that point. :dead:

But: "I like to beat my head on the wall ... it feels so good when I stop." ;)

We can only hope that putting the tourney in Boise will (somehow) be better. And actually, I think it will, but ReNO (love that!) set the bar pretty damn low.

For a one-bid league, this post-season tourney featuring all 12 teams is self-destructive in so many ways. Incomprehensible short-sightedness. The ONLY way it would work would be to have a maximum of 8 teams... but then it would make much more sense (all around) to have the conf. winner host. As it is, of course, winning conference means nothing. I know... beating a dead horse. Day by day I agree more & more with Everett.

The article someone posted about one bid conferences having tourneys said it perfectly. You do your conference a huge disservice by setting up the regular season champs to potentially slip up and not having the best team represent the conference. Honestly, we should just do away with the tourney altogether.

I want the tourney at the home of the conference winner and top 6 go, no participation medals, didn't make it, get better. Can't host because of facility's, then second gets to host.

How many emails and phone calls do you think it would take to make a change? Maybe a petition from around the league? Atleast the UM’s, WSU’s, IU’s, and EWU’s would vote for it.

Sadly, it wouldn't matter, Bama.

The bsc openly and readily admits that fans HATE the neutral site idea and they admit they were well aware of that feedback prior to making the decision to begin with. Just one more instance where the league proves it doesn't give a shit about its fanbases.

God damn it you are right on this. Trade one neutral site for another and what a 3 year contract.
It's going to be at least 3 years before anything happens.
