Fukc Delaney :lol:JayLarson said:Our offense put up 557 yards and we outgained CCU's high powered offense by 150 yards, our defense made as many stops as we would usually expect them to make. I refuse to blame Delaney at all, for christ sakes he was 10 and 3.

But..that call, or what ever blown calls the mob is crying about is not the reason the Griz lost today.. We were outcoached. We forgot how to tackle. The pressure was non existant. Our corners were playing charmin soft...I could go on.
I would have thought this fan base is better then this...Blaming the refs. Sad really.
Agreed we were outplayed and definitely outcoached but if the refs wouldn't have have had their heads up their asses we'd have likely at least seen an overtimeDarryl Dunphy said:..It is so cliché for fans of the losing side to blame the refs. Pflugrad at the helm and the griz roll that d2 team....Da Boyz Mom said:Fahque said:I'm afraid you are correct sirkittel12 said:This year's team is no where near as good as everyone thinks. We were lucky to host a playoff game and until the head coach is replaced we will never get any farther than we did this year!
Bottom line is this, Griz overachieved this year!
Sadly I have to agree. Even with the officiating debacle I think the Griz could have pulled it out with better coaching.

Hard not to wonder how things would have gone with Pflu's offense out there and all the speed we have. Instead for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of games we seem to go into this predictable pattern and then when it's 3rd and 6 throw the 30 yard long bomb and hope for the best. Then the fourth quarter comes around, we are behind, and we find the short passing game again and holy shit, what do you know! It works...
Frustrating...
And that is why you should shut the fuck up about losing to a d2 team....you should be fine with it...you seem to be fine with a mediocre coach and staff.JayLarson said:Our offense put up 557 yards and we outgained CCU's high powered offense by 150 yards, our defense made as many stops as we would usually expect them to make. What is frustrating is all those drives that stalled at the 25-30 that they knew they were going to go for on 4th down, why on 3rd and 8-10 do you force it to the endzone time after time after time to guys that are covered? Why get away from the "2 downs to get 8-10 yards" mentality? I think I may have been close to a conniption fit in the second quarter.
