The Refs sucked!!!!!!

With that bullshit that caused a 15 yard gain for the Griz to be a no play the refs basically took 7 away from the Griz. For those of you who watched on TV WTF was the explanation for that?

They gave none. And they showed the replay and all the refs were ready for the play to start.

Half the people say that here too. The refs had a 1 sided effect on the game and it sucked. I would love to actually get the statistics but I'm pretty sure CCU was only penalized once when I personally saw at least 10 that should have been called. And they're calling stuff on us like excessive celebration and taking 15 yard passes away. The refs impacted this game too much.

People said the same thing when I raised the point about how Auburn got a blessing against Alabama when their 2nd to last td(which was like 40 yards) was an obvious ineligible men down field.

The ref actually wound the clock...an inexcusable bonehead decision by a horrible referee crew. They won't be working any more playoffs. They cost us 7 points right there not to mention the momentum we had.

You only have to have one foot in bounds, they clearly thought he did to overturn the call on the field.

He did have the one foot in bounds but it was in after his other foot was out of bounds first. Also, if he didn't bobble the ball, it was an easy completion.

Tip your cap to a team whose coach had them prepared for a climate they never had experienced and a game-plan that made the Griz look bad all day. Coastal deserved to move on and the Griz will have some soul searching after this head scratcher of a game from our coaches

Even the ESPN coach commented on how our offense and defense just didn't seem to learn their lesson.

Oh you're saying his first foot stepped out before he drug the second? I didn't notice that, I'd have to see a replay, I'd like to say the replay judge would see that...but as shitty as this crew was I can't.

you have to go into a game knowing there will almost always be bad calls, that is just part of sports. good teams don't let bad/missed calls bog them down.

the most frustrating part of this game was the nonchalant jog into the end zone by jamal jones followed by the 15 yard penalty. imagine if we had kicked off into the end zone, had them on their own 20 with a time out and our crowd behind us...

poor pass protection, defense not wrapping up, cc qb throwing blocks on our backers, not containing cc qb, giving up the big play (86,51 yard td's)...the list goes on. griz were not in this game. the refs had very little, if any effect on the overall outcome of the game.

I agree GrizLa. Unacceptable even if your bias to your southern friends these refs were lost the whole day. Maybe an explanation will be forthcoming but it will be a huge part of this game. Stuff like that makes people lose faith in the GAME.
