...I really don't like that this board seems to be obsessed with hatred of MSU and NDSU, but I guess NDSU fans should be flattered by that...

I have no problem with it at all within the make-believe world that college football matters (a place where I dwell for several months every year). Its when people can't separate it from reality that concerns me. To me its like millionaire football GAME players believing that kneeling during the national anthem is somehow going to make a difference. Brave souls they are.

It's no different that "The Ginger" having success in the NFL. It's good for impression of FCS football, and that benefits us. Whether or not the resentment (and bit of jealousy) you gals have for NDSU will let you see that is a different story.

Totally agree. Any FCS school beating a ranked FBS team is good, even if it has to be NDSU. It shows that a high level of football is being played here. Also of interest; a couple of days ago on Russillo and Kannel, Danny mentioned that top FCS teams are better than lower FBS schools and that FBS teams should reconsider scheduling them. Just by watching teams like Montana, NDSU, EWU, and Jacksonville State play and then watching a Nevada, Ball State, Rutgers or Iowa State play, the better looking teams are the FCS ones. I don't like the Bison, but I am very interested to see what they can do against a Top 25 team. Might be closer than people think.

NDSU will get beat in this game and it won't be very close. Past NDSU teams would have a shot but not this one. Punting has sucked, secondary play has been poor and the offensive line hasn't played well. Iowa will win by 17.

Kudos for NDSU scheduling this game though.

So far in 2016 the Bison are not playing at the same level as in the past. They are lucky to be 2 and 0 and not 1 and 1 or even worse 0 and 2. This looks to be the year of reckoning for NDSU.

This is one of the things I don't understand about you guys. An NDSU win is good for the FCS, including us. Most of the country sees this massive gap in competition, and it's good when that is proven wrong. They are 5-0 in their last five FBS games. No, they are not beating Bama, but they are not beating Idaho either.
