I agree that those four set the bar. I thought we beat Boise State in 1987 once too, but I'm too lazy to look it up and I may be wrong. I just hope this goes down in the "epic" column.

We crushed Boise St in 95 in their last season in 1-AA. They were the 1994 national runners up too. However the 2-4 spots above were OT or down to the wire games and the '93 SDSU game was the greatest comeback in 1AA history.

I don't see why it wouldn't be an epic game.. The last two meetings here have been pretty damn epic!

App State might have the best group of receivers in the country this year. Your secondary questions from last year might be answered pretty quickly.

I don't see that as a negative at all. In fact, I'm excited that they are going to get tested early. I think they'll be fine and play well. And if they do, imagine they confidence they'll have, and the trepidation every other BSC team will have, knowing the only GRIZ weakness is now gone.

That's why I think msu dropping the NDSU game was a huge mistake. They're not going to get tested, so there will be doubt in everyone's mind until they play a top opponent.

It was a larger comeback but in the regular season. A Legend of the Fall moment.

I absolutely concur. Right around the area of the 2007 EWU game.

In 2004 the Griz also blocked a late field goal to beat Idaho State 24-22. Atkins late TD from Roper to beat NAU in 2010 was a fun one also.

I think Apps going to have a rough game playing in the SECOND toughest stadium in the FCS . I think Grizz stadium is worth 10 points to Montana before the game even begins. To be honest, other than the receiving corp, and starting qb, I really do not know what to expect from our team. No one is questioning the talent, we are loaded with some great athletes, but new HC, new DQ, new position coaches, plus it looks like we are going to have to depend on some true freshman in key positions. After reading the practice reports, just not getting a feeling one way or another about how good or bad this team could be. I'll take App 37, Grizz 34, but would not surprise me to see the Grizz win this game. One thing Im pretty sure of, is this will be a close game, probably decided in the closing minutes.
