Premier showing of documentary last night at the Wilma. Full house, lots of ex-players and fans. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Lots of segments and interviews with former players and coaches. Touched on his own career, his family, his support of Native American players, Montana kids in general, rivalry with Bobcats, and the many "big" games his program participated in.
Selvig's comments following the show were very humble and genuine. All of those great seasons ended with losses as do they do for most teams in most sports. Despite all the successes his teams had, the movie seemed to successfully deliver the message that there is so much more to sports and teams than wins and losses. There were a lot of "wet eyes" in "Rob's House" following the movie.
Selvig is a Montana treasure!
