While I've always thought the hangover theory at least to be somewhat true, if I was an EWU fan, uke: I would probably say "just goes to show you that the Griz lose to teams that tend to be losers themselves." :lol:

It would be interesting to see the data on the opponent's winning percentage the next week compared to their winning percentage for the year. Also, if their loss the next week is a game they should have won (based off records/rankings heading into that game). This would give more credence to the hangover theory besides the opponent just tends to lose a lot.

It seems like every team we play on the road just happens to have their big promo game of the year were new unis are unveiled and crowd records are trying to be broken...

When teams beat us fields get stormed...
I mean 2012 was the only year in the last 30 we didn't have a top knotch team.

Yep, good points. It also seems a lot of teams are coming off of their bye week when they play the Griz, which gives them an extra week to prep for the game along with healing injured players.

After looking at the record of BSC teams against the Griz over the last quarter century it is no wonder every conference opponent and most other FCS teams circle the Griz game on their calendar during the offseason.
