The Cheaters Who Rigged The Game

Really? Your chances would have been better with your third team quarterback?

I was over on the hornets board yesterday. No one had posted there in several months so i gave it a try, asking how they felt about their players getting ejected for dirty plays. No one has responded. I guess they don't have many fans or something. That must suck.

Well, to be fair, they had the 867 who attended the game. Great look on national television. Just one of the many reasons I love this conference and feel MONTANA belongs in it.

Well, they have a few super duper Scumcat trolls who think they’re clever posing as Sac fans, so there’s that.

And yet you are so damn easy to troll. Everette, how do you explain that even the other Grizzly fans call you out for being a whiney lil bitc#?

Easy to troll. That's an interesting phrase. Better than at ease as a troll I'd say.

...biggest asshole in the entire eco-system...
...you guys want to argue with one named oldschool...

... ...

Rewatching a bit of your game on ESPNU and knowing what we know now, you can pretty much see how the officiating would go. Brown throws a perfect pass to Fontes for a td with 1:30 left in the 3rd. Ref staring directly at the play, foot is in the end zone, calls incomplete…. Foreshadowing I suppose. They at least got this one right after review.

The other two whiffs that stood out to me watching effected both teams. Your guy got absolutely launched into the kicking net after he was two yards out of bounds. Ref right there, no call.

The other was on a Scatebo run. Got forced to the sideline and taken down by an obvious horse collar tackle. Was lobbying for a call immediately. Once again ref right there, staring at the play; no call.

BSC officials seem to be a little bit worse each and every season.

Not worse; Inconclusive, iltc, inconclusive. And as a conference, there's nuthin they can do about it. Ask the commish.

On the alleged horse collar it appeared to me that the tackler had him by the jersey around the sleeve area, not with a hand inside the neckline of the pads. But they didn’t show a replay, so it was a bit hard to tell.

I’m watching the replay now and one thing that hasn’t gotten enough attention is the Griz clock mismanagement. Their first drive of the 4th quarter took 6+ minutes and they scored the TD with 8:42 to go to go up 24-14. In all honesty, they could have used up another 2+ minutes off that clock if they’d have quit snapping the ball with 13-17 seconds still on the play clock. In that scenario, Sac either has much less time or possibly NO time left for that last drive.

Also, if Corbin Walker’s two PI calls were actually PI, then the two NON-PI calls on the Griz OT “drive” were absolute assault and battery.

Also, the squib kick certainly looked like an attempted onside kick to me…maybe they weren’t expecting to actually have a direct hit on one of our guys, but they were definitely NOT trying to kick it downfield, and maybe were hoping to recover something beyond the initial line of defenders?

And there’s no DOUBT that guy was out. And BTW, it was the same ref that called Fontes OUT when he was clearly IN. That guy needs to be fired. WAFJ.

The ultimate travesty of the game was the planned hit on our quarterback by 46 which took victory away from a very good Griz team.

Fair assessment on the horse collar. Didn’t watch a replay either. Just appeared to be a textbook call every time. Though it’s the BSC so I guess it’d be a 50-50 call at best.

Something else: On the Griz last drive in regulation, Sac had all 11 guys within 5 yards of the LOS, with 7 guys in the box, and we STILL insisted on running up the middle repeatedly. Honestly, that alone ought to get the OC fired, FFS.

Was just watching that same thing. Say what you want about the Sac catch that was likely out of bounds. You guys still had nearly 4 minutes and all your timeouts to even get in field goal range. Playing against a D that had to have been absolutely gassed.

Not sure where the uproar about Brown is coming from though. I thought he played pretty well this game.

On the 2nd to last play, Brown stared down Flowers the entire way, ignoring White (who had much better position on his defender) and Grossman, who had nobody within 4 yards of him in the left flat.

On the last play he again stared down his receiver (White this time) and the same ref who called Fontes out, and called the Sac State guy IN decides to swallow his flag on the most egregious PI of the night.

OK. I gotta let this go. Watching this debacle again is really just being a glutton for punishment.

I’d like to say it was out of bounds…

Yes. In the same way that tomorrow is "likely" Wednesday.
