I’m simply wondering why we’re okay with paid professionals not being held accountable for consistently shitty performance. Why is it okay ans acceptable that the only conference in America where that’s a completion is the bsc? It’s been 30 years of blaming the refs. It’s a f###[#] known commodity. Some of you people need to become Raiders fans and find out what it’s actually like to get f###[#] by the refs. 2 missed field goals seals this game up. Going for the first down instead of a td in overtime gives you a chance. Wrapping up scatterbo instead of arm tackling seals the game. We were +4 on turnovers and can’t score. We gave up 24 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Guess who else was bitching about refs today, the cats fans and they f###[#] won. Every loss is the f###[#] refs around here. Take a step back and tell me we didn’t have every opportunity to take it out of the refs hands. That’s what good teams do.

So because we controlled the #3 team in the country with arguably the worst backup QB in the Big Sky, and we're not a good team?? We're a phenomenal team with piss-poor coaching...Britt comes in or Rosey opens up the playbook in the 4th to sustain a couole drives, and we win that game. Yes. But those fans didn’t have 5 video angles showing exactly how wrong officials were. This wasn’t a 50/50 missed PI call. This was indisputable video evidence which 100% showed the GRIZ got a stop on 4th down. Absolute worst case scenario there is they punt back to sac deep in their territory with 40 seconds left and no timeouts. It was bullshit and it was wrong and you know it.


As for sac playing better, I’m still laughing.

If the Sac State replay booth is within earshot of the replay booth, like it is in a lot of the high school size stadiums, then then it is entirely possible that the announcers had an influence on the outcome. They said repeatedly “I don’t see how there is enough evidence to overturn the call on the field”. I really have no proof this happened, and while the announcers were pretty good, they were definitely homers. The call was clearly crap, easily seen on replay, regardless of the outcome of the game.

I know of two instances where a BSC officials crew was fired. I also know of several suspensions. I have seen it and been on the evaluation end of things for HS officials where they are demoted or not scheduled.

There is accountability. Maybe it isn't to the level that some are calling for, but there are officials that are "fired".

I re-watched the first 1/2 of the game this morning. On the same drive that 46 was ejected that was his 2nd time he had a late hit and led with the crown of the helmet directly into Johnson’s face. 2 refs saw it and didn’t throw the flag.

The older ref even went over and asked Johnson if he was ok. Had they thrown 46 out for targeting then it is a different game.

46 shouldn’t see the field again, nor should the refs involved.

I said on the day he was hired that he is just an AVERAGE coach... He was handed the keys to a sports car during his first hc at um... He then drove the tires off that sports car and used his luck to bail to Nevada... He is AVERAGE at best and will never produce what he was hired to do.... NEVER...
