The Bubble today: 6/4/25

Doesn't it cost like 100k just to deflate and reinflate it to do repairs? Gotta imagine deflating it, getting it back to the manufacturer, doing the repairs, bringing it back and reinstalling it is north of 500k
All on the dime of the manufacturer. Sounds like a no brainer decision to me. Send that shit back and do it right like they shoulda done the first time.

I get there are financial limitations, but I wish we could have built a permanent structure. My opinion is the bubble looks like a cheap solution to an indoor facility.
Fair - good chance though if they were doing a permanent structure they'd still be fundraising. At least we've got a full football field for our indoor facility instead of an 80 yard one. 😉

The 80 yd facility is fine. The new Bobcat IPF is really nice with the inclusion of the track training facilities for the track team.

"If you can't find time to do it right; when are you going to find time to do it over?"

This is embarrassing on the cusp of football season.

I thought I smelled something. Nasty cats too dumb to know what the box is for.
Always something with that pitiful crowd. Come November, they'll be flooding the Clark Fork with sorrowful tears from a thorough beat down as they make their way back where they belong.
At least they figured out the track facility is for the track team, but that won't keep them from using it for double duty as a feed lot for the cheerleaders.

Why? The school district my children attend take down the bubble every May and put it back up in October. During the summer, there is no bubble. It saves on the cost to keep it inflated and lighted. This is nothing different and it's pretty cool to see the turf field without the bubble.
