The Bubble today: 6/4/25

How does it sound?

So Griz had their bubble popped, and Cats had their bubble popped by losing the Glacier QB?
One of these can be repaired!

Not to be Debbie Downer, but the fact that the bubble is already springing leaks does not give me a lot of confidence in the longevity of the product. Unless this is normal and expected which I would not know.
I too am surprised by that. Typically speaking, I've always heard that these things have been very durable/reliable. Not sure if there was a manufacturing error or if someone inside hit it with something but that does seem odd. Perhaps when everyone moves outside for Fall camp and practice, they can deflate the bubble and repair the seam. Definitely can't have this happening during winter, so at least this was somewhat fortunate timing.

How's the 80 yd practice field going? Good for 8 man?
You almost have to feel sorry for the guy. I realize he thought he was being witty when he came up with his acronym for the Griz IPF, but imagine graduating from a STEM school and calling a structure, with 4 parallel sides, an oval. We’re talking basic Jr High geometry…..sure hope he’s not an engineer, an architect or god forbid a geometry teacher.

Patching is not an acceptable answer for a product that might be inferior or have design flaws. Replace the whole thing before the warranty runs out. Pretty soon we will be putting patch on patch...kinda like most of Montana's highways.

Not sure how a patch fixes a poorly stitched seam from becoming a bigger problem. Do we need to put a counter up somewhere to keep track of the inflations and deflations?
