Isn't it a little tasteless when you can buy an office, kind of like the early popes.

Isn't it incredibly horrible when special interest groups and the Democratic Governors Association try to buy a politician and an election. The Dem Gov Assoc has spent millions of dollars on attack ads, most of which contain outright lies. Very despicable. And the Dem Gov Assoc is paying for half of Bullock's campaign staff. Gianforte is not taking PAC money. He is not taking much, if any, Republican Gov Assoc money either, the last I looked.

You may want to reconsider on who's buying the election. Looks like it's the PAC's and Demo Gov Assoc money, which is funded by dark money. I'm much rather have a governor not beholden to PAC's, special interests, and their party's dark money contributors.

This is a steaming pile of . . .

GG made his fortune selling outsourcing software that facilitated loss of U.S. jobs to overseas locations, has long supported a sales tax that would allow his corporate cronies and him to cut their state income tax obligation, and blocked a public fishing easement access across his property before hiring Art Wittich to file suit to terminate the easement. He's a corporate elitist who gives a squat about ordinary working folks and their families. You have no clue about campaign finance and disclosure, or truth about Gianforte, and are simply doing the bidding of your corporate buddies/clients/cohorts.

Get back to telling me (and everyone else) that we don't know crap about football, and save your elitist political claptrap for the cocktail parties that would make most of us here puke.

The editorial is completely wrong and off base. They made some glaring mistakes. My guess is that you will see more on this subject from the Gazette in the near future.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'd be happy to respond.

Got no questions for you, buddy.

And I don't need to guess about GG.

Let's go Mets!

No, Gianforte and RNT did not sell outsourcing software. They sold software. It was no more outsourcing software than most any kind of CRM software. This comment is silly. It's like saying the people that invented and are improving the internet are promoting outsourcing.

He's made no comment on sales tax for about a decade. When he made one comment, he was not proposing or supporting it. Check your facts.

I have known Gianforte for about 20 years, and represented his company from almost the beginning. I know a heck a lot more about Gianforte and his company than you or anyone on this board does.

I also know a lot about campaign finance law, as does my firm. I represented a client that was indicted for illegal campaign contributions. Two of my former partners are Walter Mondale and Tom Villsack (former governor of Iowa and current Sec of Agriculture).

Gianforte is not a corporate elitist. He raised his family in Montana and has lived in Montana for more of the last 20 plus years than Bullock. He loves to fish, hunt, hike and camp.

No, he didn't ever try to block a fishing access site. He worked to get the State to locate the access on the site of his property where it was actually located, not where it had gotten. When the State finally came to inspect the site, they agreed with him and moved the location of the easement to the correct location. Gianforte has allowed people to fish and park on his property for years. It took the filing (but not serving) of the suit to get the State's attention. It was filed to move the easement to its proper location, not to block access. Again, get your facts straight.

You just got owned, Goat.

Like I just said, you just got owned.

Owned? Ain't never been, won't ever be. I stand by everything I said, especially about the easement. Give up the spin. The record is clear.

PR, if you had started out admitting that GG is your client, and thus he presumably paid DW at least seven-figures in fees based upon your representation about your relationship with him, I never would have bothered.

Bias exposed. The world's smallest violin is playing a mournful tune.

Well, it sounds like somebody is owned. Amazing how these lawyers will swallow and internalize everything their clients tell them no matter how obviously mendacious it is. He just simply denies all the information we have from many sources without providing any counter-evidence beyond his own compromised claims.

Gianforte aspires to become the Brownback of Montana with all the disastrous results that entails. He’s Brownback on steroids with the addition of the worst retrograde religious horseshit thrown in for good measure with what that will mean for education, sexual freedom and environmental destruction. If one were to look to the very worst and most unreliable source for an honest and objective opinion on anyone at all, wouldn’t that person’s lawyer be that source?

Can I play, too?

I only have one question: Why are you always a total douche?

Why do all of the athletic department brass laugh at you? Can't wait to meet you in person. Mr. not athletic bone in his body and knows little or nothing about football.

You may be fat Bruno, but you are wise.

The last person you want to listen to on this is Gypfortee's douchebag lawyer (although said douchebag lawyer did play the game).

No, you were completely OWNED. Everything you said was wrong.

Let's bet $1,000 on the easement. Put up or shut up.

RNT was my client for 15 or so years.

Hey Ranger, what competition to you want to have? Football, Griz football, law, education, smarts, wife, money, tackling, friends, kids, beer, wine, travel, writing ability, awards won in athletics? You have been a jerk on this board for a long time, but basically have disappeared. What's up? Lost your ability to troll?
