and kids weren't fat
They couldn’t be with all that pulling on their bootstraps. I remember when if you pulled on your bootstrap three times in a day, you’d get a free ticket to Old Dornblaser.
I heard it puts hair on your palms. We are talking about the same type of bootstrap pulling, right?

Truthfully, as I get older I watch less of it anyway.
That sounds great, now think how much better it would have been to have all that plus drugs and porn?montanaguy said:ordigger said:alabamagrizzly said:ordigger said:There was a time we had no ESPN, and we survived

Grew up in a house with no TV. A great life. Mom booted us out of the house after breakfast and we built forts, created baseball diamonds, fished, roller-skated and biked all day. Amazing that we survived without TV, drugs, porn, and fast food.
Haahaha. Funny. Yeah, it wasn't all idyllic, but I'd still prefer that period to grow up in.SaskGriz said:That sounds great, now think how much better it would have been to have all that plus drugs and porn?montanaguy said:ordigger said:alabamagrizzly said:Surviving but were you really living?

Same here. You didn't mention -- but I'll bet you had them -- the chores you had to complete before starting on the fun stuff ... adding in pick-up basketball, building (probably unsafe) tree houses, etc.montanaguy said:Grew up in a house with no TV. It'd be great if because of social distancing there were no jockeys. I'd watch that!DuCharme said:If you’re into horse-racing, TVG and TVG2 still has live races.
