Because unlike you who’s pessimistic about everything, some of us choose to believe this can be better. I believe we can, but we have no way to know for sure as right now with our season ending 2 hours ago. The first reason why is just looking at all the seniors on other teams graduating. That alone makes us a much older and experienced team. The second reason is I think we are going to make some changes to the roster. I think we will bring in bigger guys and I think we will be a better rebounding team Because it’s hard to get much worse. What reason do you have to believe that Decuire won’t make the necessary changes to improve this team next season?

I don’t think this is necessarily true. There will be a lot of 5th and 6th year seniors in the Portal. My guess is that portal this year will be older than it has ever been based on so many people with free Covid years.

WSU had two 5th year transfers in their starting line-up this year and it was their first and last year at WSU. EWU lost their entire team and was still older than Montana this year based on who they were able to pick up. Idaho’s backcourt was a 5th year and a player in his 3rd year. Both in their first year at Idaho. I believe PSU also had a few.

Well all the Covid year guys at msu and Weber are graduating, that’ll certainly help. Sure they may bring in more, and we may too, but at least but we’ll be a year older now with upperclassmen in our starting lineup. This year our lineup was still like 2 years younger than a lot of the top teams. It should even our next year.
