Thank You Jordan Johnson

Jordan-- You did well as the QB with unbelievable curves thrown your way! Proud to call you a Griz Great and know your future is off the charts!! Thanks for believing in Montana!!!

Jordan Johnson = Class Act

You guys are going to miss him, probably more than most realize.

A class man through unbelievable adversity! Thanks for everything you did fo the UM JJ! :thumb:

You'll always be one of our all-time favorite Grizzlies in our house, Jordy-- not just because of the talent and guts and poise you've shown on the field, although all of that is deserving in itself. Even more than that though, is how much respect we have for you as a person. I'll never again hear the saying about the pride and tradition of the Montana Grizzlies without first thinking of the name Jordan Johnson.

I've understand you're considering going into coaching, possibly in Montana. I hope that's true. You're someone who would undoubtedly have a positive impact on young people. Whatever you choose to do with your life though, there's no question you'll be a success. ...And wherever you end up, we'll always consider you a Montanan!

Best of luck!

Thank You Mr Johnson all of our lives have been made better by you, your family and your ability to look beyond the bullcrap. Continued success young man!

There are verty few guys anywhnere who would have gone through what JJ went through and have the guts, courage and commttment to come back and do so well. He was thrown under the bus by university administration and raked over the coals by the media. He was found not guilty and rightfully so and went about his business and tried to put all this behind him and provide outstanding leadership. No one has brought up the $ cost in all of this in addition to the emotional cost both for him and his family. I predict good things in the future for JJ and wish him nothing but the best. How anyone with any sense could criticize him is beyond me.

Here's to Jordy, a guy that never quits, is tough as nails and has the smarts to be a team leader. Thank you for toughing it out, through thick and thin. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. Well done sir.

Hopefully JJ will see all of these comments. Whether he does or not I have to say Thank You!! And Good Luck!! You are an Outstanding Individual! Thanks for the memories!! GO GRIZ!!!

All I can say is ALL of Griz Nation owes you a huge thank you and a debt of gratitude. JJ mentioned in the Cat-Griz Game Day feature on him that he considered leaving UM after the trial. That was the first time I had ever heard him publicly say that. And I could never blame him if he had. A portion of the University of Montana turned its back on him, even members of Griz Nation did, and anyone wearing Blue and Gold (Fans) was convinced he was guilty.

But JJ stayed. He said he was dedicated to his teammates, his friends, and especially Delaney. IF Jordan Johnson wasn't the person that he is, A GREAT PERSON, and an All-Time Griz great at QB, we wouldn't be mad about losing to Eastern right now, instead, the Grizzlies would have likely suffered through their third straight losing season.

So thank you JJ, for being the person you are, thank you for allowing the Griz into your heart, thank you for being about as tough a Griz QB as I've ever seen. Thank you for your leadership and perserverance through an otherwise dark and unfair time in your life. Thank you for choosing the University of Montana and thank you for staying.

Thank You

True. best wishes in your future endeavors JJ.

 Great post!

The only thing I would add is that JJ demonstrated that he had much higher character than the jackass President of the University, who tried to use him, Pflugrad, and O'Day as scapegoats to deflect attention from the President's own mismanagement and failures.

Showed alot of guts both on and off the field - thanks for staying I wish you all the best in the future

It's not gonna break my heart to see him graduate. It seemed like when he was allowed to do what he does best, you guys were never out of any game. Plus, he always seemed to have the Cats number. MSU had no answer for him.
I was glad to see him come back after his trial though. Especially after being found not guilty and having his name drug through the mud. Not many young men his age could have done it.
Good luck with whatever your future holds JJ.

X2. Thanks JJ. You will always be a qb that is added to a discussion of Montana great qb's. Thanks for the memories.

If there ever was a post deserving of 17+ pages, this is the one that does! Thank you Jordy!
Your time here just flew by. You left us with some fantastic Griz memories. (Tearing up UNI in the Quarter Finals and watching the fireworks during the game and after is my favorite)
Go Griz!
