You'd have to have been braindead to not think this kid would end up at EWU. I knew the second the story broke that's the ONLY place he was going. And it's fine. Eastern fans can gloat about getting a great player because they certainly did get one. But while Screaming Eagle and others are gloating, I hope you'll all at least be willing to admit that had he landed in Missoula, you would have been on Egriz faster than flies on a fresh pile trashing Delaney, Haslem and whoever else for taking another thug, while Cat fans would have been screaming "They still want to win at all costs". It's funny when it's your own team though, it's always "he deserves a second chance."

I wouldn't have, because he's not a "thug." He was smoking pot, not raping anybody or getting into bar fights or what have you. Notice I didn't say he deserves a second chance... I was quoting the presser which included Baldwin's statement on the kid. There's no guarantee he'll even see the field, considering the temptations in the evergreen state.

I'm still waiting on the comments re: purported bar fights... eh Zib. :dope:

What bar fights are you referring to, or are you just making up stuff? Can you identify any involving UM football players in say the last 5 years? Besides Donaldson, can you identify any others that raped someone?

I wasn't referring to any UM bar fights, I was giving examples of "thug" behavior, a term that is used by Griz fans because of Pat Williams.
