TE Horner Leaves Team

hopefully it's nothing serious and simply a young guy not sure his head is in the game right now. playing football in addition to school is a HUGE commitment and sacrifice and certainly could play a factor. I don't like speculating with situations like these but I just hope it's a kids personal decision and nothing shitty happening in his personal life. best of luck to the guy.

I have say something must be in the air lately. Cant fans are hitting all time lows. Teton Cat, Spokanewoman, 2506, are all at their true best lately. Have brought lame to whole new level. Going after kids, their parents and anyone else who reminds them that they are fans of a inferior program. Sorry to hear this young man left. Wish him well and I really hope he comes back.

As far as Horner goes.....yeah....he would be a good fit in Bozeman....other than the Scheye kid he's the only one of the in-state recruits that the Griz got that could play for the Cats....maybe the Cross kid but that's about it. Maybe I'm whining, but I just saw this one situation where there was no reason for rivalry/smack bs or to insinuate something about Montana, the culture, Delaney, ect..as you did in your first response. The kid has a PERSONAL issue. I just see that a reason to not take it any further. And I took exception to you taking it further. Sorry for trying to be rational. Anyway. Tough loss. Horner was going to be a great player for the Griz. He was pretty much a man among boys in the all star games. However, if your heart isn't into it then its probably a good idea to turn in the helmet/pads now than later. Like someone said about Daly you just may see him back someday.

Not at all. He would have been a starter his freshman or sophomore year. He is a damn GOOD Player. He was one player I was definitely not looking forward to the Cats playing for the next 3-4 years.
