The OL gives him enough time to throw the ball, poorly.

Rest assured, Gresch is most definitely the better QB.

And I believe he'd be doing just fine with this OL because defenses have to respect the passing game. He was also more than capable of running the ball. He has a nice running TD in his mid-season highlight film.

Of course, it doesn't matter now for the Griz... unless he signs with the team from Bozeman.

I fear his numbers here, with this O line would not be as stellar...which is sad, actually. But yes, he is a fine QBFahque said:MiningCityGrizFan said:Sam A. He had 277 passing on 20-33 and 69 rushing
same oline for Cam. it looked as if the receivers were more in sync with Cam, they sure looked likegph1 said:Sneed had 2 seconds to do something with the ball. the o-line is not maintaining blocks, they make contact and let their man go. I don't think it's Sneed's fault.

they tried harder to make the catch and more.
Cam came in at the with 11:30 left in the 4th are you saying that the 2's and 3's were in at that time..jodcon said:zirge said:same oline for Cam. it looked as if the receivers were more in sync with Cam, they sure looked likegph1 said:Sneed had 2 seconds to do something with the ball. the o-line is not maintaining blocks, they make contact and let their man go. You realize UND was playing 2's and 3's by the time Bobby actually pulled the trigger on Cam though? Their starting secondary is light years ahead of what we saw late.
But I wish he would have given him a whole half of work, 34-0 was not something we were going to overcome anyway, and he looked pretty comfortable.

if the dline did not get subbed out then the argument stills holds, same oline for Cam as Sneed.
cause 2 plays later at the 10:46 mark Cam strikes to Akem for a TD......just checking if you know that
for sure........
I agree completely. Like 100%. Jensen left because of the coaches man crush with Sneed. He made the correct call.MiningCityGrizFan said:Sam A. It's easy to point to the offensive line, but in my opinion, it's not quite that simple.
The OL is struggling because, at this point in the season, defenses know that Sneed's arm is not a threat.
Defenses know they can basically stack the box, take away the underneath routes and then play to stop the run. They don't have to respect the deep ball because Sneed can't throw the deep ball.
That's the formula to beat this offense.
Once they stop playing favorites with Sneed and start playing Humphrey, teams will have to start respecting the deep ball and will have to drop a safety or two into coverage. Once that happens, the running game will open up, the short passing game will open up, and things will start to happen.

"One read sneed" is Bobby's Boy
i would have liked to have seen that as well. not sure of the dynamics of leaving sneed in if bobbyjodcon said:zirge said:Cam came in at the with 11:30 left in the 4th are you saying that the 2's and 3's were in at that time..jodcon said:zirge said:same oline for Cam. it looked as if the receivers were more in sync with Cam, they sure looked like

I'm not sure exactly when they pulled everybody but after they scored to make it 41-0 they were playing a lot of new numbers, not sure how many of the starters were still in. At that point I wasn't exactly glued to the action anymore lol. Like I said, I wish he would have had a half of work to see what he could have done.

Second team D and no blitzes against Humphrey. Please don't tell us that you don't understand this.

oh i don't know the pass that cam made to akem on the second td he was under pressure and made the play. so it may be as you said, but in reality the protection against the pass was in the same ballpark just not in the same play by play as you would want us to think. in short, i see pressure when it is happening so i do not need a lesson in apples and oranges.
pretty simple really, you do not need to blitz to put pressure on the qb to see if he is capable of making the play under pressure. another perspective would be that sneed's overthrows were not all made under blitz pressure......get it now?PlayerRep said:zirge said:PlayerRep said:zirge said:same oline for Cam. it looked as if the receivers were more in sync with Cam, they sure looked like

Huh, please put In English, so we can evaluate.
