and, Cravens goes negative on Montana yet again....his act is old...

For the most part I think Cravens is pretty good. A lot of his sayings are funny and in my opinion he doesn't get overly chatty during the game. He does seem to not like Montana much though.

And seriously it could be worse. After having watched Walton be the announcer for some of the Pac-12 games I was ready to rip my own ears off my head. He never shuts up. The game could be tied with 30 seconds left and he's off rambling about something like a guinea pig he had growing up as a child that ate a few legos & then crapped out a perfect replica of the Millennium Falcon. Or worse he develops a strange love for one particular player then goes over the top with his commentary about their physique.

He's so damn distracting I watched a good part of OSU's game against Washington with the sound muted.

I'll take Cravens and his occasional dislike of Montana (and sense of humor) over "The Pac-12 is the best conference in the history of the world and deserves 9 teams in the NCAA tournament & oh by the way have you ever used a hydraulic press to flatten a cashew while wearing a kimono?" Walton any day of the week.

I find it physically impossible to listen to any game with Walton. But, Cravens is grating. I hear accents all the time around here and he is carrying his as far as it will take him. In LA there was a guy named Huwell Hauser who became a SoCal legend because of his "aw shucks" accent from Tennessee but Cravens is hard to listen to, especially if you are a Montana fan.tomorrow, we will hear how wonderful Bliznuk and EWU are with a bone thrown to Kriscovic and many Oh-gwan-ae
The game tonight is an ESPN broadcast. Do we know if Cravens will be calling tonight’s game?

I may be one of the few, but I like Walton! He is so absurd that its actually comic.
I half agree with you. Some of his crap is pretty funny ... and he does know BBall and can explain it pretty well. But the agreement is only half, because after awhile his shtick gets beyond tiresome.

That was pretty funny. Funnier since I am reading it after a win rather than a loss. Have to expect to scrap out tough wins. Noone is going to lay down with a trip to the NCAA on the line. Expect another tough game tomorrow. My kids want to to go watch their high school compete for a state championship so I probably wont get to watch the griz game again tomorrow night. Was at State AA tonight.

It's on ESPNU, put it on the DVR.

No way. Cravens works for Eleven Sports. ESPN has their own guys.
