Storming the field in 2nd round...

Bball player was beat up. Fball player was kicked off immediately. Minter wasnt involved.

I love how the Cat fans are starting to act like only Griz players get in trouble, I recall last season a basketball player (your leading scorer) getting in an altercation that reportedly involved Minter and trackster and former football player Chris Wilson. Basketball player misses like last 3 weeks of the season, and others involved go without punishment. This seems more serious to me than a kid buying X pills, at least he is only harming himself.

Minter wanst even there,

the BB player came to the bar and picked a fight (over a girl) with a LB, LB beat the shit out of the BB player, LB was kicked off the team immediately, BB players season was ended due to injuries.

former FB player turned track athlete was present and was was suspended for a few weeks for using a fake ID.

tell me this shit doesn't happen in every college town in America, and it was dealt with appropriately and swiftly.

the point is not what happens but how it is handled, it looks like the situation of your tackle buying drugs (also happens in every college town in America) was handled correctly which was not the case in previous years.

I figured this thread would find its way on here. I'm sorry a bunch of kids ran onto the field and hurt your feelings, what's the big f***[*] deal? You dumbasses are such hypocrites, Poole gets arrested for buying drugs and lots of you say " oh, its ok, he's just a kid, give him a break!" But a bunch of college students run onto the field and you get your panties in a bunch. Get over it, they are kids. Do you have nothing better to do than whine about this?
You're normally a good poster...I see you decided to go the way of your brethren and be a total f***.
Sorry, just frustrated, my apologies.

Seems odd to be talking junk about a fan base who's team beat their rival on their rival's home field, is ranked No. 2 in the country, while ours is done for the season and didn't even receive a vote in the final FCS poll.

And honestly, what occured in Bozeman doesn't even qualify as storming the field. You need more than a couple hundred to make a dent in the field storming category.

But hey, I guess if all Griz football is about anymore is to make fun of Cat fans, things are even worse in our nation than I thought...

Agree! I wish that we had a playoff game this year to storm after...

Congrats for being there to the Cats.

Why don't we concern ourselves with our own program? Who cares what Cat fans do or don't do, man we are sounding like Cat fans of past year. My how the roles and programs reversed.

Havgriz is absolfreakin right. Give little brother a break is all I say. As of late, it has been so little and far between being in this position that they should relish it. I am sure cars were burned in the street too. Additionally, beating a powerhouse like Stony Brook in such a tight game also called for this kind of celebration. They should have brought the goal posts down and the lights down as well. They could put the pieces and parts on the wall of that famous cat bar in Bozeman. What's the name of it again?

It looks like the Bobcats will be hosting the Bearkats this Friday in prime time on ESPN2.

A good old Friday night lights game; shoot, if MSU wins that one, why not storm the field, then storm the bars.

Yeah, ain't it great! Let the kids, the parents, and whoever else wants to get on the field do it, who gives a rip!

Asinine comments about people reacting like this only shows how arrogant and bitter you are. Relax, chill out, we'll invite you over next year and beat you again, so this mob can run on the field again. It's just fun!

Presumably the NCAA rule is to prevent damage to the field and/or the opposing players. Otherwise it is a pretty silly rule. So I'd agree with CatsR76. They won. Let them celebrate.

You know, I think that's only the third Bobcat playoff win in the lifetime of the current students. They should be allowed to enjoy it.

I drove by Washington-Grizzly stadium yesterday, and nobody was storming the field. I guess we've been there before.

Oh crap! I stormed Wa Griz yesterday. I tried to tear down a goalpost, got tired, and fell asleep on the turf.

That was you sleeping? I jumped over you while I was streaking through WA Griz yesterday.

Let em enjoy it while they can. Hard to get there, even harder to do it again.

I managed to sneak a whole 18 pack of Oly into the stadium for Hammer. Wasn't even checked by security. Hammer didn't show up. Nor did anyone else, only some guy asleep on the field and another guy running around naked. I drank all the Oly and walked home. :)

Let em' storm the field, it is a playoff win. Better than EWU storming the field after a regular season win.
